It was my first time using sitara lentils. I used to buy suraj brand before. Sitara quality seems as par with suraj if not better. Definitely recommend it. I will try other types of lentils than urad dal

I like these cook very easily but i suggest soaking it in warm water for an hour before cooking . I have used many lentil brands  Sitara is just as good!

Sitars urad dal is perfect quality. It is already cleaned and ready to use. My Dayi bhalle taste same like home.
I always make winter pak with grounded sitars urad dal.

Good quality with perfect splits without any little broken pieces.  Shelled Urad Daal is very good for health and with the shells on, it has lots of fibre. Sitara is a well known brand in Indian as well as many other south Asian communities.  I would definitely recommend this product
