Split red lentils are a source of protein for the family. It is an excellent way of getting an adequate protein diet.  I used it in place of powdered beans for my  weekend bean cake and enjoyed it. Highly recommended for those that usually bloating or gas after eating beans.

Never bought this brand before but it was just like any other popular brand. It was clean and free from any impurities. Cooks fast.  Use it for daals & soups.

These lentils are amazing as my mother in law always enjoy cooking soup and her own little secret recipes for sweets and such. We usually buy these and not always on sale hard to find sometimes.
