I bought these for my husband who is in a job that requires him to be on his feet and on the move seven and a halff hours out of eight. He's out in the weather all year long and works in a shop-type atmosphere where hard toes are mandatory. Unfortunately, his compatability with steel toed anything is nonexistant. Enter composite toes. Oh, yeah...and Skechers. After a lifetime of this job, his feet are ruined, but these shoes keep him going virtually pain free. Until I bullied him into trying Skechers years ago, he limped and moaned, unable to do much of anything after he got home. All different since then. Shechers are his go to for everything except church. These shoes are well made, comfortable, and stand up to hard, hard wear. 'Nuf said.

I wear these boots to work at a steel manufacturing facility. My job involves welding, shearing, and other labor intensive duties. These boots hold up very well under all conditions. The memory foam insole is AWESOME. My previous boots were the same thing in a taller model, and after 14 months, the insoles felt just as good as the first day I had them. I hope these hold up just as well.

AMAZING work boots

Cushioning isn't what I like, because it doesn't go to the edges of the sole and though it has a pillow type feel at first I would prefer the memory foam that is the entire sole not just the center. I almost didn't buy the shoe because of the insole. But I like the sketchers brand for the arch support I get from them

Nice work shoe

Was skeptical about buying shoes online. I bought this shoe specifically for work. Have bought many pairs of other skechers over the past few years in person and have never had to worry about the width before, so I gave it a shot with the pandemic going on. Extra wide doesn't seem to cut it for this particular shoe. Wore them for a couple hours to break em in before I tried em for work. Seemed a little snug then. Made it through day one of work without too much discomfort, but decided after day 2 that my feet were being too compressed on the sides and should discontinue wearing if I want to be able to be on my feet afterwards. Glad I kept my old pair just in case. Guess I can use them for doing yard work or things I won't be on my feet for extended periods of time. I have 4 different styles of skechers right now, both work and recreational. These are the only skechers that haven't felt like they were meant for my feet. I'll have to buy a different style for work soon as I've had my other pair for about a year now and are falling apart. Skechers will still be my first choice.

Won't be buying this specific shoe again.

I'm usually a huge fan of Skechers. In fact, I have four pairs right now. I bought the steel toe shoes online without trying them on and it was a mistake. I have wide feet and wide skechers are usually comfortable for me. The steel toe shoes made me feel like my toes were being jammed into a metal funnel. One day in them was all I could handle. I bought them online and returned them to the skechers outlet near me. Luckily, the return process was painless and all is well. You just might want to avoid the steel toes if you have wide feet.

Avoid the steel toes if you have large feet.

It was a nice shoe but I had two problems. First, the edges of the composite toe rubbed on my feet causing some sore spots. Second, the "non-slip" sole was actually slippery in some floors - for example with sawdust on painted concrete. My feet slipped out from me sometimes and I did not feel confident working in them. I ended up returning the shoes.

I have bought these work shoes for years, never had an issue. These new redesigned ones are terrible. Says they are the wide shoe but they are way to narrow. I can not even wear them, hurt my feet something awful.

Not at all what they should be

I used the shoes for one day of work, I could feel where the composite toe wrapped under the toes, thus causing pain in my big toes within two hours of work, which sucks because it was a 12 hour shift. The memory foam inserts were not comfortable nor adequate enough for the toes, as mentioned above, when inspected toe section was much thinner than rest of insert.

Not recommended

I would give half a star if that was an option!! I bought Skechers for the first time, because they were HIGHLY recommended by my Girlfriend , who works at a restaurant , and Seears by then. However, I do security Installations and am constantly working from a ladder. These shoes felt like they have NO shank at all, by Friday of the first week, and Only week, wearing these shoes I could barely walk from my truck to the door! I would NEVER recommend these " work shoes " for anyone who works from a ladder. I was so disappointed, and I had to buy a real pair of work boots because these shoes suck.
