I gave this shoe a five star rating because it looks very well made. It's considered a work shoe, but it's nice enough to wear to social events. I recently had foot surgery and am concerned about someone stepping on my foot, so the steel toe in this shoe is a real plus. I wear a 9 1/2 D. I ordered a normal width, but wish I had gotten a wide. They feel a little tight. I was going to return them for a wide size, but they are out of stock. I need a shoe horn to put them on.

These are my husband's new work shoes - arrived last week and he really likes them.  He has problems getting comfortable shoes for work that stand up - he is a farmer and these fit perfectly and are so cushy and comfortable.  He does not like just any shoe but he likes these.

Would most highly recommend.

i HAVE A FEW PAIRS OF CASUAL SKECHERS THAT I LOVE... I NEEDED A STEEL TOE SHOE AROUND THE SHOP BUT DIDN'T WANT A HEAVY BOOT WITH LACES... I WEAR A 10.5 IN ALL THE OTHERS BUT HAD TO GET 11 BECAUSE OF STEEL TOE. THEY FIT GREAT AND ARE SOOO COMFORTABLE

OVER AND OVER I WOULD BUY THIS WORK SHOE AGAIN.

On my feet all day and with this shoe you'll never even know it. Very comfortable and AWESOME!!!!! for the working professional. If your on your feet for an extended amount of time then I strongly recommend them.

AWESOME!!!!! Work shoe.

I ordered these in a size 10 along with a size 10 of the brown. Got them both in and we're just a bit snug in the toe. Took the back to the store to return and order 10.5s. They have the brown but not the black in that size! Don't know why but they stop at a 10

Disappointed

I use these for my factory job, so concrete floors and worn out rubber mats. Almost sent these back as I had trouble getting my feet (6E) into them. Once on however they felt alright, but still need to use a shoehorn, even after a month of wearing them. They DO need a break in period, either for the shoe to stretch or your foot to get used to them. I also switch to my old shoes every couple of days, for a day, which seems to help and give my feet a break while breaking in the new shoes. Overall though I am happy with these slip on work shoes.

Shoehorns are your friend, once on they are comfy

I wanted a brown slip-on, which greatly limits the choices available. I wear a size 9 extra wide. They only offer wide on this model, so I ordered a 9 1/2. These arrived and I knew they wouldn't work when I saw them even before I tried them on, as they seem to run small/narrower than the other Skechers I have. Also, they are twice the weight of my gray canvas Skecher slip-ons. They would benefit by changing from a steel toe to composite toe, and they should offer extra wides for those of us who need them, and not have to buy a bigger shoe to get them to fit comfortably. That being said, they are comfortable to wear all day at work, but they do tend to make your feet sweat more than the typical Skechers sneaker models.

Needs a couple of design improvements

These shoes are comfortable however they are not made well as they break down over a fairly short time. I buy two pair at a time so that I can alternate wearing a pair every other day. Even with this the stitching at the toe comes loose and the heel area breaks down. If it wasn't for the comfort, I would not buy these shoes at all

Comfortable but not durable!

The shoes are great in all aspects except that the tongue of the shoe is far too tight and has caused abrasion in that area. Since I am using these for work, a lot of walking was painful. I only used them for one day and it was already too much.

So close to being great, but one step short.

Descent shoes... takes a while to break in and then sole separates from upper. Should be constructed better.
