Carbonation Level

Leaks? Nope.
Leaks while carbonating? Nope.
Keeps drinks cold? Absolutely.
Holds carbonation? Yep.
Easy to clean? Very.
Can I see how much is left? Yep.
Soft comfort mouthpiece? LOVE IT.
Bought another one? Yep.
I'm a heavy, everyday SodaStream user, and I own TWO of these bottles, purchased separately from two different retailers. One from Walmart and one from Amazon. Both have been working perfectly.
So after reading the one star reviews, I thought I'd review the reviews. 😂
“IT LEAKS FROM THE MIDDLE!”
Neither of mine does. Not while carbonating, drinking, or carrying it around.
I actually LOVE that it unscrews in the middle because I can thoroughly clean it. That's a feature for me, not a flaw.
“IT DOESN'T FIT MY SODASTREAM!”
Here's an important little detail that might save somebody some frustration:
The soft comfort mouthpiece UNSCREWS AND COMES OFF.
Underneath is the normal threaded SodaStream bottle opening. You remove the soft mouthpiece before putting the bottle into a compatible carbonating machine.
So if you're wondering how that big mouthpiece is supposed to fit into your SodaStream, don't start composing that one star review just yet. 😂 Unscrew it first! Of course, you should still verify that your particular machine is listed as compatible.
“IT DOESN'T KEEP DRINKS COLD.”
Mine keeps drinks cold MUCH longer than a regular SodaStream bottle. And unlike a completely opaque insulated bottle, I can actually see how much is left. No shaking the bottle and asking, “Hello? Anybody still in there?” 😂
THE MOUTHPIECE?
Probably my favorite feature. Instead of drinking from the usual hard threaded bottle opening, you get a soft, smooth drinking surface. As someone who uses SodaStream throughout the day, I love it.
THE BOTTOM LINE
I'm not saying people who received leaking or defective bottles didn't have a legitimate problem. I'm sure they did. But the reviews can make it sound like leaking is inevitable.
That simply hasn't been my experience with TWO separately purchased bottles.
I have no connection to SodaStream. I'm just a heavy daily user who bought these with my own money. For me, this bottle keeps my drink cold, holds carbonation, lets me see what's left, comes apart for easy cleaning, and has the most comfortable mouthpiece I've used on a SodaStream bottle.
Would I buy it again?
Apparently so.
I already bought two. 😂

I Read the 1 Star Reviews-Let's Review the Reviews

walmart.com

Good cup for sodastream machine and great for on the go privileges.

Love this bottle. The fill lines for the water and syrup make it so easy to use. It keeps the drink cold for hours. It even fits perfectly in my car cup holder.

Best bottle

sodastream.com

The smaller insulated bottle is a great idea and looks great when compared to the clear bottles! Be mindful that this smaller water bottle has 3 removable parts. All 3 must be tightened appropriately, or water will leak or spray out when carbonating. If tightened too much, they are very difficult to unscrew, especially if you have weak hands. You won't know this until you attempt to carbonate your water. Unfortunately, this can be very messy.

Many moving parts

The bottle looks great and was good for three fills then it started leaking where the plastic connects to the metal bottom. Will be returning for a refund.

Looks are deceiving.

I have a convertible and want something to keep my soda cold and sparkly. This design does not work well for this as the top is too hard to open when driving. It is also impossible to se. the syrup fill line after carbonating. Returns are not accepted so I spent money on an item that does not need my needs. In this day of easy returns this was not expected. Love the machine and the syrups but will not purchase another thermos.

Not very versatile

I got this bottle to mix with my soda stream, and I followed the instructions to the letter that was in the box with the bottle and it still sprayed everywhere from the middle after I filled it with water.

Great look, poor design

Loved the look, the sturdiness, and ease of carrying. Unfortunately, it won't keep my drink carbonated. Within an hour, it's flat no matter how tight I try to make the lids. Very disappointing because overall it's a beautiful bottle.

Soda goes flat quick

Useless, water streams out the threaded seam on the side when you try to carbonate it. It will not hold water without leaking if not upright. It doesn't do the 1 function it has.

Useless

SodaStream 23.7oz Fizz & Go Easy Mix Carbonating Bottle, Storm double-wall stainless steel bottle, front-facing, storm finish with integrated carrying handle, slim 23.7oz profile fits most car cupholders and keeps beverages cold and bubbly up to 12 hours; often used to carry iced coffee or sparkling water on the go.
