I bought this for my daughter for Christmas! She had been using her roomie's SodaStream but now that she is on her own, she needed one! We love making fizzy water and adding lemon! It is a healthy alternative to soda. We love the blue color too! And Walmart had the BEST price I have seen for this product!!!

This is easy to use, no cords, (yes we will need to replace the CO2 bottle), but in all, it's going to be cheaper than purchasing the more expensive sparkling waters that do not have Aspartame or other artificial sweeteners. Healthier alternative when you're in the mood for something sparkling.

Fun making our own infused sparkling water!

This is a Christmas gift so not sure but it's what our granddaughter asked for.  I think she'll like it.  Also, Walmart is the best when ordering on line.  Usually receive the items within 3-5 days.  Other places, you could be waiting weeks to receive.

Soda Stream

If you are trying to kick the canned soda habit, then try this.  I squeeze a whole lime into the bottle and fill it with filtered water, then put it in the freezer for an hour.  When it is good and cold, five 2 second squirts will give you a good carbonation mouth burn and tastes great.  Cooling it helps it to maintain the "fizzy" longer.

Good substitute for canned sodas.

This little product works as advertised.  Soda stream charges for refills, you mail in the empties and they mail u back full ones.  Haven't had long enough to see how long a cartridge lasts to know if it's cost effective for me over the liter bottles you buy in the store.  Time will tell, but the cartridges and the bottle holder work just fine

Works well

I'm actually very disappointed in this item. I got it about 4 months ago and I thought it would be a great substitution for buying sparkling water, however the CO2 containers are expensive and they carbonate very few bottles per canister. It is not worth the hassle or money in my opinion.

Not worth it

This thing looks good and that is about all I can say about it! Problem is, it just does'nt work. This is the 3rd unit I have purchased over the last 10 years or so and I had no issues with the other two, they just wore out. This one however does not fizz the water above a mild amount, no matter how many pulses you give it. I went through a CO 2 cartridge in like 4 days without getting one satisfactory drink. It is going back!

It just does not work!

This item does not hold the large size bottles of co. My family makes a lot of sparkling beverages and we always run out of carbonate too quickly.

Not enough Fizz

This is a poor version of the original.  The new auto-lock bottle configuration does not allow for adequate pressure to build up.  Result?  Flat soda.  I contacted the number provided for support.  They walked me through a process that was supposed to fix a possible "jam" in the gas valve.  In the end, I used up a lot of gas with only a minor improvement.  If you expect 60 liters of soda from one bottle, I hope that you like very flat soda.  It was not complicated to screw in a bottle.  No need for fancy connection that cases problems where none existed.  I wish that I could get the original model!
