They are very bright but not blinding. White light and not a yellowish white. I only had one light out but we changed both since it's recommended that way.  Have a 2013 Jeep GC Overland and we accessed area via under car and in front of front tires. Have to turn tires opposite direction to get your arm near the fog lights opening.  They are clipped in so it's a little tricky to pull old ones out but very doable!
