I wasn’t sure what to expect when I purchased these being deemed “open box “

they look and function as brand new and I’m extremely happy with my savings!(I paid $60 which I believe is roughly half of new) 
 The sound is excellent and the battery life is ridiculously good.
 I used these for a couple of hours a day every day. And after five days the charge had barely depleted at all

Heres the Solution how to activate the Sound Engine with full audio Amplifier in your iphone.
you need fx bass boster music player ( sound engine )  from app store . get the purchase your own subscription its cheap ! 
you need 3utools in windows pc .
connect iphone and drag your 320 kbps audios using 3utools . 
all your audios will be in music player library . in the Music player turn on Bass , turn on volume boost . and customize your perfect EQ frequencies.
Make sure you have downloaded Sony Connect app also from store and connected. and also you need to turn on Clear Bass in sony connect and customize your own EQ . do not bad mix frequencies may result bad sound or polluted frequencies. 
Boom 💥 Hope now you are listening most out of Iphone special audio hardware amplifier power and Sony clear super Home theatre Bass ! 
another way to add music from pc to this music player is 
To add music files using Wi-Fi sync, go to the Downloads tab, click on Sources, then tap on Wi-Fi Sync. After that, go to the URL mentioned on the app on your computer browser. Upload the songs you want to play with the Equalizer FX app there. Then press the Access File button, select songs, and press on Download button, and it will appear in your Downloads tab.
