I bought this headboard and didn't realize it would have so many pieces.
The screws provided were longer then required and they drilled through the headboard
the headboard also cracked in one spot and so I had to throw the whole thing out! - poor quality and workmanship - do not order - horrible and not I'm out the money I paid for it

Poor quality

Horrible instructions. The headboard smells like formaldehyde. Did not notice till after put together and went to bed.  Tring to find a way to get rid of odor.  If can't, waste of money will have to buy something different.

Looked good in photos but poorly packaged which caused damage to headboard. Hoped the two damaged areas wouldn't be visible but as you can see in the photos one is very noticeable. Plan on trying to patch and paint it. My suggestion is if the box is beat up, refuse or open and examine before setting up.
The chip core material is not very sturdy.

Fortunately I can read english and follow instructions, THAT was not the problem, the problem is the product - cheap, flimsy quality and screws that are longer then required.  There was no confusion on my part and contacting your customer service department would not have changed the product quality or the poor quality parts you provided, so not sure how you feel that would have guided me - review your quality control and actually put the product together and you will see what others have - its poor quality

Response back to South Shore

My hubby, Kevin assembled it and we now have a sturdy headboard.  Budget Friendly, Black to go with our decor.  Awesome!

Looks Great!

Very cheaply made. Flimsy. The screws that were provided were too long and when following the instructions came through the front of the headboard. I will return this item.

Nice headboard, looks great in our spare bedroom.  Was pretty easy to put together.
