Ease Of Assembly

I almost didn't buy this because of the negative reviews but I'm so happy I purchased it anyway! This is a really nice dresser! It did come with a small gash on the top but all I had to do was call South Shore and they sent a free replacement that showed up within a couple days! Easy to assemble, drawers glide nicely and looks great. I saw some reviews complaining of the wood, it's engineered wood, if you want solid wood you'll be spending significantly more.

Fantastic dresser!

walmart.com

Clean, modern style. Good product and finish

5 drawer chest- south shore

It looked complicated to put together but it's very easy once you get started and it's very sturdy

It's great

Just finished putting it together. The directions were easy to follow, but it definitely required 2 people to assemble. So far so good. It is very nice. My only complaint is it feels a bit unstable and wobbly empty. I believe I am going to remove the piece that was placed on the bottom to see if it helps to stabilize the dresser some.

New Dresser

Overall it's a great looking dresser. I was sad to see it arrived with dings and chips. Most of them were small enough or on the inside of the panels, so I didn't bother shipping it back for an exchange, but still when you pay over $200 you expect it to not have damage. The packaging looked like it fell off a few trucks. The instructions were fairly easy to follow, but have your own tools handy because it didn't come with a screw driver. It does look nice and all the drawers slide with ease.

Beautiful but shipping is not careful

The measurements in the specs. of this product are not right. The dresser is only 45 in. tall. Do not buy this if you need to store very much at all in the drawers as they have very flimsy drawer bottoms. I guess when you pay under $200 for a dresser you can't expect much, but I do expect the measurements to be right.

These dressers have gotten more cheaply made since we last bought them. The fronts of the doors frequently come off due to either cam locks loosening or just cheaper products in general. Has become tedious to constantly have to fix as well as dangerous to have in my kids room

Will not purchase again

Drawers will not stay in and assembly was ridiculous. One board was missing the pre drilled holes!

Not a good buy

Shipped broken

The top of the dresser is horribly cracked and there's a whole piece of the drawer missing!!!

South Shore Fynn 5-Drawer Chest for Child in gray oak finish with five spacious drawers featuring sleek black metal handles and smooth metal slides, shown in a 3/4 front view against a light wall and white door, styled with a piggy bank, framed dog art, and Scrabble box on top, ideal for organizing kids' clothes and bedroom essentials.
