i searched high and low for a headboard at a fair price. reading other reviews i was nervous, but had to make some kind of choice.

im glad i chose this one. the ship to store was quick and easy. once home the instructions were simple and clear, with plenty of images.
the instructions say it is a two person job. i did it by myself (im just stubborn that way). i will say that several segments of the assembly would be much easier and quicker with two people, as you have to turn the headboard over at two points. but, despite being disabled i managed to pull it off.

follow the order exactly, skipping no steps and it is a simple thing. if you try to skip ahead then it is likely that you will have to back up and undo one part or another.

the few flaws i found relate to screws. the back piece of the arch is screwed in at the top, but no pre-drilled pilot holes are present, so either make some yourself or be prepared to be patient with starting them in. the small brackets on the back side have one hole pre drilled, but the other isnt, and there isnt much space to do it by hand, so be prepared and there should be no real problems there either.

once set up it is fairly easy to move across a hardwood floor even with one person since felt slides are included. on carpet or a more textured floor i would advise getting a second person. also when lifting or moving/adjusting it do not use the arch. while it wont just break apart with normal use it will not support the weight of the entire headboard and would either break or at least come off.

overall i would recommend this headboard quite highly. for the price it is much sturdier and attractive than i had hoped for.

It is just perfect finish for the bed and looks great alll set up. I am sure my grandson will love it when he visits for the summer.

My headboard would get a 5 star rating except for one small detail. The posts that set on the floor are not painted white (as the photo shows). They are an unfinished cardboard-like material. On my full sized mattress and box springs, the legs show slightly (an inch or so) on the sides with the bed made. I imagine I will paint the legs one day, but in the meantime, I'll just enjoy it. It is sturdy (60 lbs), has a lot of parts but assembled easily (things fit with no missing hardware), and looks great!

Love my headboard

The headboard is great for all of her treasures as well as alarm clock etc. Nice built in hole for cords and plugs. Again, harder to assemble than anticipated, and my husband is handy, but overall good value for the money.

My daughter loves this

This is an inexpensive product, and in this case you get more than you pay for - but in fairness it's still on the cheaper side. The wood actually looks halfway decent, less plastic-y than I would have feared. The worst part of the whole assembly was the back panel. Be careful nailing it on! I accidentally sent one nail through which caused a defect in the total appearance (no one knows it's there but me, but it get at me, and I wish I'd realized it was possible to mess up that way, because I would have been more careful!)

This is the only thing I've ever ordered from Walmart and overall I was pleased by the quality, as well as the free delivery, which turned out to be far faster than advertised!

A Good Price for a Product that is Not Bad

The headboard overall was good. The only problem is there doesn't seem to be enough bracing in the back so the top part does wiggle a little but nothing a couple extra pieces of hardware from your local store can't fix. Somehow the headboard did break a little during assembly and after the holiday weekend I will be calling to discuss a replacement part if possible. My daughter loves her big girl bed she has slowly been using all the storage space to store all of her ponies.

A good bed for the price

I was trying to put the screws into the top curved part of the bookcase and because there were no predrilled holes, I applied too much pressure and the whole piece broke off. Please predrill all holes.

I was excited to get this new bed for my daughter. However, the measurements were incorrect. There is an inch gap from bottom of shelves to supporting legs. therefor, more supports pieces on the bottom were unable to be attatched properly. Thankfully, I was putting this up in a corner of the room so the walls can hold this up. I like the appearance of the whitewash, it matches her purple walls well, but that gap was too much of an eye sore, so I had to doctor somethings up. I would like to have some of my money back due to the inconvenience of spending money on something that isn't exactly how it is supposed to be, and not because of me.

Only one side of the bed frame was received, no hardware.
Headboard was received complete.
Pressed wood material mostly.
I'd rather pay more and buy a solid-wood bed.

Missing parts

It's was what I expected it to look like and the price was a fair. But you do have to be careful when you build it because its very sensitive of cracks.

I am not happy at all with this product, it is poor quality, I feel like I am going to have to look for new furniture in the next two years, this bed feels like it will fall apart anytime now.  THIS IS PRESSED WOOD....pieces were missing,  

The only good thing was that the bed was delivered fast, but if you are looking for something that you can hand down, use for at least 2 years, don't buy this product, get REAL wood...

NOT WORTH IT!!!!
