Hidden laces are a game changer. I was concerned the shoes would need tightening etc but not needed. The shoe hugs near the middle without being tight. Only downside is these don't feel as breathable as past pairs but still recommend.

Husband loves these shoes! He has been wearing Sperry Boat Shoes for over 30 years.  First time to try the Cross Lace shoe and loves not having to tie his shoes!

First Time

The shoes look and fit great.  However, within a week, I had to glue the bottom liner because it came up with normal on-and-off usage (I'm barefoot when I wear them)

Great shoe with one flaw.

The quality of Sperry shoes seems to have deteriorated in the last couple of years. Very sad.

Not as good as they used to be.

Wanted black on black, customer service helped so much above and beyond found what i wanted and helped all through process. So 3 star is for having trouble find my shoe and shipping to long but 5 star for customer care and product.

Customer care to the rescue...

Giving Sperry a chance to replace defective pair…but the soles came completely unstitched at toes on both shoes and the rubber split at the stitching as well. VERY disappointed with what used to be superior quality from Sperry. Otherwise shoes are fine from the sole up. Comfortable.

Sperry quality has gone downhill

Ordered a pair fro Sperry(you) in size 10 and as close as possible style from shoe store that sells Sperry. They fit completely differently. Does not give me confidence in buying from either in the future

Not what I expected from Sperry, the insole isn't like former boat shoes. It's cut midway through the sole (only heel support) and has detached and comes out every time I take them off. I should also mention this happened within two days. Very disappointed.

Sperry what are you thinking?

Sole inserts came unglued within 5 days of receiving.  Evidentially this is an ongoing defect in Sperry products.

Came apart 5 days after purchase.

I found the on-line descriptions baffling and received a shoe that did not resemble my 50-year favorite that I always thought was a "Topsider," with white sole, medium brown upper and laces that tie. I had to return it and will buy locally.
