Over the years I have used Sta-Bil successfully in several of my lawnmowers and lawn equipment.  If you plan to have a viable working engine after a few months of winter storage, use Sta-Bil for best results!

Don't be surprised by hurricane season and not have much left for a generator. Generator calls for stabil and have had ethanol free rec90 go bad in 6 months without it.

I've used this stuff for years.  
If you cannot drain and purge the entire fuel system, Sta-Bil is mandatory for vehicle and equipment storage.
I also use it in my backup fuel supply to keep it fresh and ready to use in an emergency.

I only have one gasoline-powered yard tool and don't use much gas so although this size bottle costs more per ounce than the larger sizes, I prefer it in order not to have a larger size sitting ony shelf potentially past an expiration date

Testimony! This Chainsaw is 25 years old. 6 &1/2 years ago retired sawmilling and sold it and this saw has set on the floor of the garage for 6 1/2 years. Today I got it out just to clean all the gunk out of it and get it ready to take to the shop to get it running again because I figured after 6 & 1/2 years the gas had gone bad and the carb probably needed to be cleaned or rebuilt. After cleaning it up I pulled on the cord a couple times to cycle the piston to make sure it has not ceased up. 4 pulls and it STARTED! If you don't use STA-BIL in your seasonal equipment. You should. 6 AND A HALF YEARS !

6 & 1/2 years in storage, it started like normal !

When I put my classics in storage for winter (6 months here in the Northeast) I would not think of storing them without a healthy dose of Sta-Bil Storage! I have never had any problems with stale gas and they fire right up in the Spring. Fill the tank to the top. add Sta-Bil and run for a few minutes to protect the fuel in the lines as well.

Wouldn't think of storing my cars without it!

Have used this product for numerous years in all of my gas tools and machinery items. Especially since I have lived in the north when these items have been stored for the winter months. I have never had any issues with them cranking and running after a long winter storage. Would recommend this product to everyone to protect your equipment.

Great product

Back in the fall of 2001 I put my 1985 Dodge GLH 2.2L Turbo in storage.  I added Sta-Bil fuel stabilizer to the fuel and ran the car for about 10 minutes.  The plan was to get the car out the following spring.  Well, next thing you know 15 years had past.  I'm now relocating and I needed to move the car, so I put a fresh battery in the car, and to my amazement, it started right up.  It ran like I just shut it off yesterday.  No issues, runs great.

The car had 3/4 tank of fuel when I stored it in 2001.  If anyone at Sta-Bil is interested in a fuel sample to analyze, feel free to contact me.  The 15 year old fuel is Shell Premium unleaded.

Not sure what's in this product but it works!

15 Years in Storage!

I just sold a BT Cruiser motor home. It has a Ford Triton V-10. I used it for promotional use, pulling bass boats. Five years ago I knew it was being put up for winter so I filled it up with fuel and put stabil in it. After two years of storage I started it up and moved it out side of my shop because I needed the inside space.  Last week, three years later I jumped it off and it fired right up within two seconds. That's after having the fuel with ethanol and Sta-Bil in the tank for five full years. Crazy, unbelievable, but true. I'm a believer.  Randy Qualls, President, Legend Boats

You won't believe this, but it's TRUE

I use to be a believer in Sta-Bil. But after 2 seasons of having issues with my generator and mowers not wanting to run right I found something that works. I have had to replace every carburetor on all of my equipment. 2 of them just a couple of years old. I only use gas from stations that are "Top Tier rated, so gas is not the problem. 

The problem is after a few runs with Sta-Bil in the gas cans, the bowls and jets are cover with varnish. My generator gets ran each month for about 15 minutes with about a half of gallon of gas til it runs dry. The 5 month it would not run. I pulled the carburetor and had to clean it out. This is what I thought was supposed to be prevented. After talking to 2 mower shops about my issue and as soon as I mentioned using Sta-Bil in the gas they both said there's your problem. And both recommend the same alternative product.

I have not had an issue since with my equipment not starting or running. Not sure why this happens, but I cannot recommend this product. This is solely my opinion which we are all entitled too. Others may have better luck. But for me and again this is my opinion, I'm done with Sta-Bil. It's a shame since I have had so much better luck out of other Golden Eagle Company product's.
