Over the years I have used Sta-Bil successfully in several of my lawnmowers and lawn equipment.  If you plan to have a viable working engine after a few months of winter storage, use Sta-Bil for best results!

Sta-bil fuel stabilizer A+++

I've used this stuff for years.  
If you cannot drain and purge the entire fuel system, Sta-Bil is mandatory for vehicle and equipment storage.
I also use it in my backup fuel supply to keep it fresh and ready to use in an emergency.

Don't be surprised by hurricane season and not have much left for a generator. Generator calls for stabil and have had ethanol free rec90 go bad in 6 months without it.

Best for storms

10 years ago, when we moved from a condo into a house where I had to take care of the yard, I decided to always run Sta-Bil in all my power equipment. I add it to my fuel cans when I fill them. I've found it helps counteract the issues with 10% ethanol that is in regular pump gas. 2 1/2 years ago I was sidelined with some health issues. I finally can get back to taking care of the yard etc. My lawn tractor, pressure washer, push mower, 2 cycle string trimmer, 2 cycle blower and snow blower all had to sit idle during that time. Everything fired right up on the old gas that was either in their tanks or in my gas cans. I can't say enough good things about Sta-Bil. I recommend it to friends and acquaintances' all the time. It's kept all my equipments fuel systems in great shape.

I run Sta-Bil year around.

In 2021, I purchased a generator to provide electricity during power outages. The outages can last days or just a few hours - a can of gas may last two years or more. I have now used STA-BIL in that gas can for two complete 2-year stretches, and, both times, the generator ran perfectly even at the two year old point. Reliable peace of mind. I label the gas can with the date I put new treated gas in it so there's no question how old it is.

Reliable peace of mind

Have used this for a couple of years for my collector cars and yard tools (Snow Blower and Pressure washer).  No more carburetor flushes or replacements due to degrading gas.  Everything starts on first try.  Especually great for my collector cars that go months between startups.

Protects my infrequently used machines

I have a few cars and sometimes it is difficult to get them out and running in the winter time. When I learned of sta-bil, I was sold after the first time I used it. My cars started up and ran well without the usual hassle of coughing and stalling.
I recommended it to my brother and now he uses it in his lawn mower and even the gas he keeps in a can for emergencies.

Great product

I have been using Stabil for quite a long time. My classic car fires right up after sitting all winter with this additive. I also use it in my generator, the tank is always full but rarely used, I trust Stabil to make sure it's ready to go in case of an emergency.

Product works great!

I have used Sta-bil for years and will never store any gas-powered engine without it. Whether it's my muscle car, lawn mower, chain saw or weedeater, every fuel tank gets the proper dose before storage and starts right up when needed. Highly recommended.

I use to be a believer in Sta-Bil. But after 2 seasons of having issues with my generator and mowers not wanting to run right I found something that works. I have had to replace every carburetor on all of my equipment. 2 of them just a couple of years old. I only use gas from stations that are "Top Tier rated, so gas is not the problem. 

The problem is after a few runs with Sta-Bil in the gas cans, the bowls and jets are cover with varnish. My generator gets ran each month for about 15 minutes with about a half of gallon of gas til it runs dry. The 5 month it would not run. I pulled the carburetor and had to clean it out. This is what I thought was supposed to be prevented. After talking to 2 mower shops about my issue and as soon as I mentioned using Sta-Bil in the gas they both said there's your problem. And both recommend the same alternative product.

I have not had an issue since with my equipment not starting or running. Not sure why this happens, but I cannot recommend this product. This is solely my opinion which we are all entitled too. Others may have better luck. But for me and again this is my opinion, I'm done with Sta-Bil. It's a shame since I have had so much better luck out of other Golden Eagle Company product's.
