Over the years I have used Sta-Bil successfully in several of my lawnmowers and lawn equipment.  If you plan to have a viable working engine after a few months of winter storage, use Sta-Bil for best results!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Top quality products like stable fuel stabilizer are a staple of Walmart's overall high quality product inventory. Walmart is my go to store for all my family needs.

Beware of the Walmart bottle sizes and prices.  I first ordered gallon size, but walmart canceled my order due to them pricing it wrong.  My 2nd order was for 16 oz bottles. I was billed for 16oz but received 8 oz bottles. Walmart did make things right for me, but it was still aggravating getting it done. I highly recommend this product especially for weed trimmers, lawn mowers, chain saws, blowers, or any gas engine that goes long periods of time of non use.

Handy stuff to have around for small engines

Don't be surprised by hurricane season and not have much left for a generator. Generator calls for stabil and have had ethanol free rec90 go bad in 6 months without it.

Best for storms

I put it in the motorcycle around January 15th 2024 cuz I don't ride it so hope this helps keep the gas good till I sell it.

Be careful to check the size when you order.  I ordered what I normally do (for the price) for my husband, and did not realize the bottles were half the size.  I investigated and this is the normal price.  You can only get the smallest 8 ounce bottles at the store and the prices online are comparable.  The best deal is a very large container, but that is way to large for the average person.   Shrinkflation!

I use to be a believer in Sta-Bil. But after 2 seasons of having issues with my generator and mowers not wanting to run right I found something that works. I have had to replace every carburetor on all of my equipment. 2 of them just a couple of years old. I only use gas from stations that are "Top Tier rated, so gas is not the problem. 

The problem is after a few runs with Sta-Bil in the gas cans, the bowls and jets are cover with varnish. My generator gets ran each month for about 15 minutes with about a half of gallon of gas til it runs dry. The 5 month it would not run. I pulled the carburetor and had to clean it out. This is what I thought was supposed to be prevented. After talking to 2 mower shops about my issue and as soon as I mentioned using Sta-Bil in the gas they both said there's your problem. And both recommend the same alternative product.

I have not had an issue since with my equipment not starting or running. Not sure why this happens, but I cannot recommend this product. This is solely my opinion which we are all entitled too. Others may have better luck. But for me and again this is my opinion, I'm done with Sta-Bil. It's a shame since I have had so much better luck out of other Golden Eagle Company product's.
