I liked Strong Roots Black Dahl as a healthy option for a hassle free dinner! It's a healthy mix of grains, which is very good for your body. I enjoyed the taste. This meal was a bit different from what I used to by among other frozen meals, and I actually liked it. I also appreciate nicely designed packaging, it looked appealing to me.  I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

With current tensions, Everyone is looking gor those "made in canada" products. Feast your eyes on Black Dahl, by Strong Roots. My initial impression is that it even looks healthy. Lentils and beans, carrots and potatoes in a savory tomato sauce. Upon lifting the seal, the aroma fills the room. This heart-healthy dish makes for an easy meal, without a sacrifice. It is full of spices, but it is not spicy. I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

I'm always looking for tasty convenient lunches that are nutritious. I love that strong roots are made in Canada and vegan.   The black Dahl is super tasty and packed with fibre, so it really fills you up. 
I can see myself enjoying many of these meals in the future and I can't wait to try the other meals. I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

A convenient, tasty lunch that's not pasta!

This strong roots in Black Dahl  has become my new favourite frozen meal now  that I'm watching what I eat. It has no artificial additives but  just natural ingredients which are good for your body.. It has a great packaging that looks clean and premium. So conveniently delicious and healthy ready in eight minutes. What is not to like ?Definitely recommend. . Delicious and healthy frozen meal!

The meal has a healthy feel to it and feels relatively substantial for a frozen meal. It is very heavy on the green lentils and black beans for that heft. The tomato sauce is a little light and you can't really taste much of it. Because it is a healthy meal, it could definitely use a little more flavoring.

This is pretty decent for a vegan meal and I would recommend it for those who need a vegetarian and or vegan meal and is short on time. This is convenient for those who want a healthier microwavable meal. I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

Healthy and heftier than expected

I'm loving that I can try an exotic dish and make it conveniently at home. It tastes really great but I would think it needs just a little more flavour as it feels like something is missing. I think the portion size especially if you are pairing this with something or choosing to have a small meal. It was really quick to make. I would try this again because I love that this is a vegan option and there are a variety of international flavours. Tasty but Needs a little more flavour

This Strong Roots Black Dahl comes in a beautiful box with a picture of the meal beautifully displayed. This Black Dahl includes  green lentils, black beans, and sweet potatoes in a delicious tomato sauce. Absolutely scrumptious! I love the aroma ABF the different flavours that combines so well. I recommend this meal for anyone who loves a healthy serving of delicious Goodness!  I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

Healthy Living

Strong Roots Black Dahl plant-based entree was a delicious and hearty meal. It included a nice combination of healthy ingredients such as green lentils, black beans  spinach, and sweet potato for a flavourful dish. Zesty but not spicy. Lots of protein and fibre to keep you feeling full and promote good digestion. I didn't really taste the tomato sauce but it didn't need it.  I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

Strong Roots Black Dahl

I definitely recommend this to my friends and family, it's a great easy take along meal. I do think it needs a little more spice or salt? Not spicey at all But the overall flavour and texture is great. Very filling after eating this. Nice and quick easy to heat up and take along anywhere. My kids liked it a lot  I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

Great easy meal

I'm a usual when it comes to purchasing ready to cook lunches to take to work and wanted to try out a healthier alternative. I followed the instructions as per the instructions and I do believe it turned out as intended however I did find it lacked a little bit a flavour. It was more mild than I was expecting however it was a healthier alternative. Maybe buy again if I saw it on sale!  I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

Black Dahl

I tried strong roots black Dahl and in my honest opinion I would rate it a 2/5. This is because the product is very dry and bland. Looking at the packaging I got a very different impression of the product. In fact, it looks lik a very different product altogether. The dahl in the picture looks like it has some bit of gravy, with smaller yellow lentils and fewer beans whereas in reality there are a lot of beans and sweet potatoes. Overall, the meal has a good quantity and if someone is looking for vegan options with good amount of fiber I would recommend it to them only. 

It is a good option as indicated on the packaging for someone who wants to avoid artificial substances in their meals as it's all-natural. 

I do not think I'll be buying this again.
