[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pillow top mattress pad cover is very soft and has a lot of loft to it. It came in a smallish box because it was vacuum sealed so it expanded once its plastic covering was cut. Like that its shipped that way because it arrives fresh & undamaged. One of the first things i noticed was how thick the squares were with the padding and the generous pockets that made making the bed soo much easier. The stitching is excellent, nice blue piping around the edges and it actually felt "cool" to the touch are we were handling it. Living in Tx. this will make sleeping more comfortable and restful.

Cool to the touch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a basic yet quality queen size mattress in my sons room.  He's a hot sleeper and there was room for some softness on his mattress. This mattress pad was the answer and now I don't even mind chillin on his bed. 

The side elastic is nice and thick and stretchy so it fits snug around the mattress and does not slip off, even with wild sleepers. 

The pad itself is lustration soft and COOLING.  it's light and breathable yet adds softness. Just impressed all around with this mattress pad

I'm thrilled about the 16" deep pockets on this because I always have issues with sheets and covers slipping off the corners because they're too short!  This allowed for a nice fit and extra tucking under to remain secured to the mattress while sleeping.  Love it and yes, it stays cool to the touch as well! I recommend this product 100%

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a warm guest room that I mainly use in the summer months.  The beds could use a little more padding but I did not want to increase the sweat factor.....Also, I have issues with large packages being left on my property.  This was compressed and wrapped in a small box (think double shoe box size).  Unfolded, it is about the size of a pillow- see photo.  It instantly expands when the package is opened and the air enters.   The pockets on this topper are extra deep.  It is not thick and dense like memory foam (which can make the bed hotter) but more quilt-like.  It did not add a lot of cushioning but certainly upgraded my older mattress a bit.   It will take a hot night with an honest guest for me to rate the cooling effect but so far, so good.

packed tight for shipping- deep pockets

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried the Subtrex Overfilled Cooling Mattress Pad and I was pleasantly surprised.  First the deep pockets were a huge plus.  Our old mattress pad was always lipping off so we had to use hooks to keep it on.  This pad has plenty of extra length and the elastic is tight so it is not going anywhere.  Second thing I noticed the minutes I threw it on the bed is the thickness of the pillow top.  I added a picture so you can see.  It was so fluffy.  It looked like a bunch of clouds.  After sleeping on it for a few nights, I honestly didn't notice a difference in the temperature of the bed.  It is suppose to be a “cooling” mattress pad, but I'm not sure how it could cool you off without some sort of gel in it.  I still gave it a four star review because it is a very nice mattress topper that adds a lot of luxury comfort to the bed making it feel like you are sleeping in a super nice hotel. I would recommend this one but not necessarily if you are looking for a cooling aspect, but it is a lot cooler than goose down would be, for sure.
