Great blanket. I don't even think you'll have to use the hottest setting, gets hot. First time I used it tho it didn't shut off after the 4 hours. Seems to be working properly now.

Worth it.

The blanket is very easy to use and it warms up pretty quickly. I was worried about the laundry but it was safe. Me and my cats are using it everyday. The value for this item is well worth it. Totally recommend!

Value for money electric blanket

This item was an online only deal, and I didn't see it at the Walmart I was at so I ordered it, hoping we could pick it up by the time we were done shopping , but it didn't work out that way so I reordered it to a location I could walk to later as I was visiting for the holidays and didn't have a vehicle. That Walmart did have it, but it was too late the savings from purchasing it online was eaten up by a sneaky fee from not making the minimum purchase price because I had never used Walmart.ca as far as I can tell. 
I rolled my eyes but it was fine I was something my mom really wanted for her birthday and she's hard o but for. But that's when the nightmare started. With the lack of security on this website my account was hacked after having my credit card stored for one single purchase and a $350 express delivery charge went through while I was packing to go to catch a flight back from London Ont to Calgary. There was 10 cm of snow that day and Walmart thinks I randomly ordered all this food to somewhere in the GTA. I don't know anyone in the GTA barely know anyone in Ontario anymore besides family and like 3 friends. 
I don't know how the product is working, but I recommend no using Walmart online without manually setting up 2-factor authentication and deleting your card info after any transaction.

Terrible account security.

It loses fur and my whole bed is now covered in blue threads but it gets warm very quickly and seems to turn off itself for cool down if it gets too hot so Ive got mixed feelings in this.

Cheap product

I have had several Sunbeam heating blankets in the past and this doesn't heat up much and I don't like it anymore the electric wire is like in the middle of the jetty so it's impossible to put it on my back either I sit on the wire or I have the wire in my neck it's still possible with other models I'm very disappointed

Electric wire in a not practical place

I didn't expect such poor quality product from Sunbeam. I have several years old heated pads from Sunbeam and they still work without any problem. This heated blanket heats up quickly but then after 5 minutes or so it cools down. Then some times one corner is a bit sometimes another and then fully cools down. The wires throughout not only too far apart but they are not heating either. I checked every single one to see if one or two lines not working the whole network was cold. Blanket is already not warm enough because of very loose weave and on top of that heating wires don't warm up either. I tried it on three different days or different outlets and different settings, results were the same. So i will be returning it.

Poor quality, incontinent heat

Did not heat up properly, only a spot or two on the whole blanket got like warm . I ended up returning it.

Don't bother!
