Easy assembly. Placed the birdbath in my flower bed and set the solar panel in the sun ( it comes with a really long cord so you don't have to place it right next to the birdbath) I have lots of birds stopping yo drink. I put a rock on the bottom section for bees and butterflies to sit on to drink.

I have this fountain for 5 years so far, I just bought another one, so I am writing review now. Never have problem with the fountain, I put it indoor in the winter and take it outdoor in summer, clean it with brush ( no bleach or anything, just water) and refill new water 3 days, it is running very well. Highly recommend this product.

Beautiful lovely fountain

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had it for a week.  I'd like to see it pumping water up higher than just running up and out.  It's very easy to assemble, but how it locks together could be more secure.  i only use the solar aspect of it, which works, but it must be in the sun full-time to work. Hoping it won't fade from the sun and weather? but only time will tell?  overall, it may be pricey for the light quality, but it serves the purpose i bought it for.

Was a tad tricky to put together due to vague instructions but if you think about it for half a minute you'll figure it out. Its a beeyotch to level in dirt without actually throwing a level on it. I think thats because the product itself is not true and square. I absolutely love it and if the price drops might buy another one. I'd say its a $100 fountain but it does come with a decent solar panel With battery back up And batteries are included, so maybe $175-$200. If it were a little beefier, taller and truer I would pay full price again. The instructions suck and the disclaimer at the top sounds like it was written by a disgruntled employee. Hope it last through the weekend.

Very pleased

Love the fountain, hate the quality. The paint is already coming off after 2 weeks. I guess I will be repainting it. I'm recommending this only if you don't mind having to repaint. Like the size and visual appeal of the fountain.

Good and bad.

Let me begin with a positive the fountain does work.  Now the negative, the finish is flaking off in chunks.  I will need to refinish the fountain. In addition to the paint falling off the solar panel snapped off of the provided stand.   A lot of work for an item that should have been set up and enjoyed through out the summer.

Flaking finish.  Don't purchase.

This is a bad buy.  Paint flaked off as soon as we opened the package.  Now the pump refuses to work, cant get it open to clean. Had the same problem with another fountain, shouldve learned my lesson. Now,theres a crust on it and its taking more paint off.  Oh well lesson learned now..waste of money though.

Very Disappointed

I bought the 2 tier fountain and liked the ease of putting it together but that's where it ends. We enjoyed it for just a couple of weeks and then it quit working. We figure it's the pump because the solar panel lights are working but Sunnydaze doesn't have a replacement filter on their website. Very disappointed to say the least.
