I bought mine a little big. I wanted to make sure it covered my fire pit completely and it did and then some. So measurements are true sizes. I could have bought the correct size and it would have covered perfectly.

I purchased this cover so that I could build a fire in my spare time in advance of company arriving. Sadly, although it keeps precipitation off, condensation forms on the inside, so any tinder I have placed to light the fire is too damp to ignite. Another, lesser problem, is that the drawstring really does not pull very tight without a lot of effort, so, in order not to have the cover blow off, I need to lift the pit and place the edges under each leg, while also looping the string around a leg. This purchase was decidedly not worth it.
