I know it is considered a lip oil, which is true because it is not sticky like the typical lip gloss, however, it provides quite the shine like a lip gloss would. The shade can go over any lip combo and moisturizes the lip better than any lip balm. There isn't a noticeable fragrance, which I like since I have sensitive skin. It is also super long lasting.

It gives lips a subtle glossy tint and makes them feel softer and smoother.  That said — the “glimmer” or glossiness is relatively modest and doesn't last super long, and some users note a slight chemical scent or flavor at first, though it fades.  It's a fine everyday option if you want hydration and a gentle shine over bold lip color.

I like this product it is super lightweight and it is not sticky at all. I like that. It has a little tint to it and it doesn't have too much of a scent so that's pretty good. It leaves my lips feeling somewhat hydrated, but you don't get very much productso that's one thing to keep in mind. But overall, it's pretty good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I really like the Glimmer lip oil! It feels like a lightweight gloss that is almost matte with a bit of shine on top. The color is a nice berry color that I do like; however, it's not a color I would go for everyday.

The Glimmer Lip Oil provides comfortable hydration and a glossy finish, but the formula feels more like a lightweight gloss than a true treatment oil. It looks smooth and flattering on the lips, yet the shine fades relatively quickly and requires frequent reapplication. Hydration is temporary, and very dry lips may still need a balm underneath.

Pros: Non-sticky, pleasant shine, easy to wear
Cons: Short wear time, limited long-term hydration, basic formula

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't love the color or the shimmer as much. Prob wouldn't repurchase for my personal taste, but not a bad product overall. Not super sticky and the pigmentation is soft and pretty.

It does a decent job for something that has no essential oils and, more importantly, it has no collagen. Google to find the very best ingredients to look for in a nourishing lip oil. Hint: collagen is at the top of the list. Otherwise, it doesn't do much of a good job of absorbing. I loaded my lips just before bed and it wound up at my lip line instead of absorbing into my lips. For something at this price, it should be a better product....especially since it's from Revlon.
