This stuff is an amazing and cheap way to fix a leak of any kind or size!!! I have not actually used this roll. But I have used Flex Tape in the past, and it is great! Easy to use, works really well to stop leaks. However,  I'm not sure if it will work under pressure (i.e. pressurized tanks, etc.), never tried that. The only bad thing I can say about it is that it's awfully expensive, still cheaper than a plumber, though!

I really like this product it served my purpose. It would been very good to have more on the roll.

This stuff saved the day when the metal liner in our outdoor freezer was damaged and the freezer would not stay cold.  I applied the tape directly to the freezer wall on the gash (about 1/2 inch wide by 22 inches long) and within several hours our freezer was cold enough again to use.  This is a temp fix but I will keep a roll of Flex on hand from now on because it really does seal well.

Fixed my Freezer Woes!

I used this to repair my BBQ grill cover which got torn in a windstorm, and also a chaise lounge cover that also was damaged.  This tape sticks stronger than anything I've ever seen before.  It has been on the covers for quite a few months and doing great.  We will see what happens when we hit the 120 degree temps in a month or two!  So far, so good though.  Oh, I also made a little hinge out of a piece of it for an old finish dishwasher tablet container that I used to throw dirty butt wipes in.  The original plastic hinge part wore out, and this tape has been holding strong for 5 months!

Amazing stuff

Flex Tape really does stick and I do mean stick!   I had a hard time getting the tape unrolled as it was very much stronger than me.  When I finally got it unrolled, it would stick to anything I came near.   Carefully I applied the tape to the pole I was trying to cover but it was not as smooth as I would like.  I sure did appreciate it's adherence quality by the time I got this job done.  The Flex Tape is water resistant and it is very very sticky.   So be careful when you use it and good luck to see who wins.

I hated the tape as soon as I tried to open it. It was extremely sticky on my fingers but when I finally tried to secure a video camera to my wall it was less sticky. The camera kept falling off the wall. I wish it didn't cost $14. Maybe $6 or $7, then I wouldn't be as peeved.

we used the black tape to try to stop a tiny pin hole leak in a pipe just until a plumber could get here and it was a joke! we've also tried the spray and thats a joke too. it works if you spray or put the tape on something dry to close up leaks but not if its wet!

didn't work as advertised!

This tape is garbage! I needed it to seal a small hole in a hose. I put it on, held it in place for 60 seconds then did not run the hose for 24 hours. I then ran the hose on low pressure and still saw a leak. I then double wrapped it and it definitely does not hold back water. I was tempted to also order the spray for my gutters but I'm glad I decided to wait.  This tape is useless and I would really like a refund!!

Useless waste of money!

Did not stick to surface under water. Once it got wet it lifted up and did not stick or patch. I was using this on my pool at the joint where the skimmer connects.  Plastic skimmer and pebble tech.

Not always a good choice for underwater repair.

I had high hopes for this product after watching the incessantly played television commercials and PARTICULARLY given the very high price point.  I used it to tape around the seam of the skylight in my car since it was leaking every time there was a heavy rain. Perhaps in benign conditions it would have worked but in the South Florida outdoor heat the tape quickly buckled which left channels for water to seep into the car.
