As a Sailor Moon fan I was excited to get this . They are cute and work just like regular switch controllers. Originally just brought the pair for myself but will definitely be getting the rest of the family their own pair !

Worth It !

Adorable, unique, and functioning almost as well as the $80 Nintendo brand joy-cons. The Joy sticks are looser in control than Nintendo's. I have not gone in yet and attempted to adjust the joysticks which you can do supposedly. It doesn't take much to get used to the looser controls though. No issues with controllers staying locked into place on switch. Hold their charge well! Surprisingly happy with this purchase, great controllers for the price!

Adorable controllers, unbeatable price!

Officially licensed joy cons cost too much. That's why you are here. There are a cheap alternative with some drawbacks. 
I have 4 children so purchasing brand new $70 joy cons would not do for me. For the price these do everything you need them to do. The buttons are sticky on some of the controllers. There is slight input lag sometimes as well. I also encountered issues paring on one of the sets I ordered. No vibration or amiibo support, but it does support motion controls. 
Despite all of these drawback I would still recommend them if you have kiddos prone to breaking them. If you love the color schemes maybe even use them to swap the shells from your official controllers. Worth the buy in those circumstances.

Great in a Pinch

the build quality is decent enough, they feel lighter and less dense than official joycon. the face buttons have a nice tactile click, and the right stick feels good but the left stick feels gummy in motion and the trigger buttons are too shallow. also the listing shows square type dpad but the real product has round dpad. the print quality of the design is really cute though which was what i cared about most. not a great controller for long term gaming but a very cute controller to have plugged in while docked if you mostly just use a full controller anyway

cute but middling build quality

As stated by other reviews, the controllers do feel more plastic than the original. I bought the Sailor Moon and Gold Tears of the Kingdom for the designs, and they did not disappoint. The designs are lovely and the controllers worked when tested. 
Unfortunately, the controller has a loud vibration when it is triggered in the games. This can be very annoying since it is much, much louder than the original controllers vibration. The Sailor Moon vibration is worse than the Zelda. If this may not bother you and you want the design, this is something to be aware of when purchasing. 
I can also confirm the controllers do not come with the wrist strap. At $25 these controllers plus purchasing a wrist strap set are still cheaper than the licensed Nintendo controllers.

Annoying loud vibration

The buttons stopped working about 2 weeks in. Horrible controllers. The a button the x button and the two back triggers require you to smash them to get them to work occasionally.  Will not buy again.

They work and register as a switch controller to your system. However, they don't play right. There's such a lag with inputs it's immediately the last choice out of the controllers in the house. Can't believe they were on sale and not this $25 originally - shouldn't have paid more than $15, honestly. My friend got an unplayable pair worse than mine, you literally can't play on his (mine can get by in something simple like Tetris or steering in Mario Kart, so 2* for me. Don't try either for something like Smash though)

You get what you pay for, just pay more

Left stick came “sticky” right out of the package and always makes characters walk to the left in resting position… not impressed. Used them right out of the package and they were glitchy. Had high hopes for these since they look so cute. Very disappointed. Don't waist your money on these.

Not impressed

This controller worked great for about a month. The right joy con went from having a drifting issue to not working at all. Mind you I play my switch sparingly. I tried recalibrating the controller through the switch and also updating it which didn't help anything at all. There is absolutely no reason this controller shouldn't be working. I paid for a piece of garbage.

Doesn't work

Love the switch and the look of these but... on the left one, (while hooked to the screen) the left stick doesn't move left or right. Does up and down and everything else and the right controller is fine. But with this specific one we got, that's what is happening. I can't speak for other ones.
