I have made this on two occasions now. My 9-yr old says this recipe has less taste and is too "hard" compared to the brand of frozen scallion pancake that I normally buy elsewhere. The result of frying up these pancakes seems to be a multi-layered translucent phyllo sheet or cracker. It also seems more oily (no matter how much oil I use). It takes more than 3 minutes to fry them on medium heat to get the appearance on the package. The other brand I normally make seems to be slightly thicker (doughy) -- similar to naan bread but flakier like pastry.
