This is exactly as advertised.
The top screws on and aligns to be held with the right hand.
The top seals weĺl to prevent spilling. 
The handle is very sturdy but wish it was thicker from a grip perspective. It would be easier for me to hold if the handle was thicker as I have hand dexterity issues.
Overall, this is exactly what I wanted from a sturdy, heat retaining, spill proof mug.

We've tested it!  It does keep the fluid inside when the lid is secured.  It also keeps the cold fluids cold, and the hot fluid hot for hours.  We like the easy to grab handle and the price too.  A solid travel mug.

You cannot use this sipper with your left hand!!  You can only use it right handed.  This was not stated in any of the information supplied on line.  It would be a very nice coffee mug if you could use it with either hand.
