This product is what it says it is, basmati, 
rice. However, it is very flavourful basmati rice. You can actually tell what type of rice you were eating. I enjoyed having it in the house and taking it for lunch one day when I was running short on time. It was really nice just to have a nice bowl of rice and some other veggies I added veggies to warm up.

I really enjoyed this rice.  I had it with the Chana masala of the same brand and it made a great, fast and easy lunch!!I thought it was so much better than some of the other packaged rice that I have tried.  It tasted authentic.  I am definitely a fan!!

Best packaged rice I have tried!!

This basmati rice pouch is so convenient and easy to prepare. Pairs well with different tasty bites entrees. It came  out nicely from the microwave with a nice aroma, it was a hit for the whole family. A must have in the pantry to whip up anytime one craves for east Indian food, non-gmo.

My new favourite rice!

We used this pouch of basmati rice to pair with another Tasty Bite dish and it was delicious! The pouch heats up in a minute and is so convenient for a quick and easy meal. Great when you're pressed for time, or simply want a quick meal. Will definitely buy again.

Great portion and taste

I didn't notice the difference from regular takeaway rice. Soft once heated and perfect texture next to a curry. Good for on the go and when in office.

I pair this with microwave Punjabi Choley or any other instant Indian entree I have on hand. The rice and a perfect every time and I have a quick nutritious meal

I've tried packaged rice before and wasn't impressed. This was definitely a tasty alternative when you are short on time. I'll buy again and keep on hand.

Fresh and tasty!

I enjoyed the other Tasty Bite dinner dish along with some wonderful Tasty Bite Basmati Rice. It's a generous portion size My spouse and I were able to share it. The rice is fragrant, soft, and cooked to perfection. Heating it up in the microwave was quick and simple. Without a doubt, I will buy it again!

Quick and good quality rice!

Tasty Bite Basmati Rice is convenient, easy to make, and a good staple to have in the cupboard.  Add some veggies and a source of protein and you have a quick and easy meal.  It is good tasting as well.

Easy to make

We had this with butter chicken last evening and I put it in the microwave for the 90 seconds it suggested but it seemed a bit on the mushy side so wasn't super impressed by this product.

ALL the sauces are tasteless and pacetie and the rice smells like play doh and mushy.
