Decided to grab these one night instead of our regular old El Paso taco kits. Was pleasantly surprised. They cooked up nicely and weren't too difficult to make. Tasted just like the real thing! They're actually quite large though and very filling. Most people would only need one so a box of four can reasonably feed four people.

We are enjoying Taco Bells new line brought to the grocery stores. Recently we tried the crunch wrap and it was very similar to what I purchase at the chain of store but for a fraction of the price. The kit includes everything you need except for the fresh toppings. The wraps were fresh, not stale.

Perfect sized kit

I really enjoyed this kit and I find it just as if I was eating at Taco Bell itself. The kit gives you pretty much everything to make the replica. I would suggest this to anyone who like the Crunchwrap from Taco Bell. Best part of doing it at home is that you can use any fresh ingredients you want.

Love this kit!!

Bought this kit because it seemed like a new type of taco.. was pleasantly surprised at how good it actually tasted but.. I did make adjustments to the seasonings as they are not very prominent so add more spices and chili powder and oregano to the beef.  Also, the squeeze on cheese is very processed.. better off with real cheese instead.  The actual taco is huge! It was an easy mid-week dinner, I would probably buy it again.

Taco Supreme

Writing this review because Kathy annoyed me lol. Not being able to cook was the not reason the wraps ripped and fell apart. We tried this kit and my partner, a chef was asking me what the heck I was thinking buying these as the wraps all tore after warming them. I wanted the authentic Taco Bell taste. It still tasted very good and maybe it was just a bad batch. I will try again, but Kathy saying people just can't cook got under my skin a bit.

Yes they did fall apart

I was SO excited to try these, however the first box we purchased wasn't right - the wraps had been completely tough and dried. We couldn't use them. We bought another box and unfortunately the quality was the same. We each managed to eat one crunch wrap but had to toss the rest.

Great aside from the wrap quality

We were so excited to be able to have a taste of Taco Bell at home when their products came out. We bought every single item. We were especially excited about the crunchwrap supreme kit. Unfortunately, the soft wraps all cracked while making them and the taste was bland

Not As Great As Expected

When you prepare these crunchwraps with the correct ingredients (shredded lettuce, fresh tomato, sour cream), they taste pretty near the restaurant ones from Taco Bell.  They are easy to prepare, easy to cook and easy to put together.  

However, there are lots of issues with the large wraps – They are tightly packed and very hard to separate without ruining them.  The wraps are thin and they tear very easily, and they can be difficult to fold into the correct shape without breaking.  If you manage to get a “good pack”, then these are fantastic, but I bought a few of these kits that were almost impossible to work with and ended up being a very messy supper. 

The price is worth it overall.

Wanted to love this kit but if anything, use it for inspiration. Much cheaper to buy the parts separately. The tortillas were stuck together and couldn't peel them apart, the cheese was bland and gross tasting. Do yourself a favor and buy burrito tortillas, queso, totadas and make them how you'd want them. Much more flavorful, better prices and more customizable.

Honestly mid and overpriced

I didn't love this. It would be better if I bought the ingredients separately and made it from scratch. The first kit I bought was moldy and had broken taco shells. I returned it to the store and tried another. The second kit had everything intact but when I prepared the tacos the soft wraps didn't seem very fresh and crumbled/broke while I was folding them.
