I don't like to leave negative reviews but I genuinely have to warn any potential buyer that this product is a complete sham. The assembly started out great, instructions easy to follow and the pieces were coming together nicely until we got to the wooden supports. The holes were not drilled properly and were full of left over wood shavings, and the wood was not sanded so I ended up with more splinters than I can count. All this could be forgiven as once it was assembled we were in the clear.

I was wrong.

Not five days after I assembled the bed (following the provided instructions to a T), the wood on the supports in the screw holes had stripped to such an extent that the wooden support pegs no longer will stay in at all: the moment you go to sit on the bed they pop right out, leaving the bed entirely unusable. If you're looking for a nice double bed with a pop of colour I beseech you- LOOK ANYWHERE ELSE!
