My wife loves this brand of ski belt due to the belt being integrated into the foam flotation rather than wrapped around the outside.  We bought this one to replace an older one damaged by too large a person wearing it.  In general, we have been pleased with products from Texas Recreation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good the belt is very flexible and I love the fact that you can do it at Crossbody or around the waist or there's multiple different ways. You can use it. It's very soft and the plastic on the outside seems very thick and sturdy.  will come in handy as a safety preserver in the water this summer.

Under arm floatation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used it while kayaking.  Sometimes, the river gets deeper, and there is always a chance of flipping over. I didn't flip, so I got into the water to see if it helps with keeping me afloat enough to assist if needed. It does. However, I couldn't help but notice that due to its thickness, it may not be helpful for someone of a larger size. However, the quality appears good, and I like that it is bright yellow, so if someone were in the water, others could notice and help if needed.

In my opinion, it is not designed for larger people

There was a warning on the box that it contained a chemical that could cause cancer.  I didn't want to take the risk so returned the item.  I wish I had known this before ordering it.
