Very sturdy kitchen island,  has a beautiful marble top that goes perfectly with my gray cabinets. I bought two gray bar stools and they work perfectly to complete the look. Would highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son put this together. Right out of the gate, get someone gifted at building or a Lego Master (that's his special talent).  Plan to have two people to help with some alignment parts, etc. Most say 3 hrs., he built it in 1.5. 

I gave it 4 stars (generously). I  recommend it, however, know going in that you WILL get a damaged top! The way  this is packaged, it's simply unavoidable! I watched my Fedex guy bring this to my door; he was gentle with it. There is 0 (ZERO) protection between the island top and piles of boards. Makes no sense. There was obvious damage upon opening the box. I'll live with it (so many scratches kinda makes it look marbled lol FunnyNotFunny). I'm terribly disappointed by this. 

Also, there's  a chance your top holes won't all line up (the most important ones do), it isn't preventing me from using it, but if you don't want to take a chance then I wouldn't. If you want it perfect, or people will see that, don't get it. Otherwise, I know you'll love it. It's exactly what I wanted (and a little better because it's shockingly sturdy! (I was worried there for a bit, but it's pretty solid for the material that it is.)

I believe they can do much better than this with packaging. It's a 70lb box, with boards sliding around against this smooth top- that's taking a beating and it's the most important aesthetic piece in the whole box. Honestly, they have to know this isn't a smart. There was all sorts of sawdust type of debris also, as if after holes were drilled they just chucked them in the box (on top of the island top). 

It's hard to say how I feel overall... 
For a couple hundred dollars, I guess you get what you pay for? 
But then, for a couple of hundred dollars, I would have expected better packaging if they went to the lengths of making such a nice island with sturdy parts/hardware and lovely features. 

PS: I've yet to find out how to-safely clean the top... 
PPS: There are directions video-wise on YouTube from Tuhome, if you need it. We needed on question answered and it was in there.

Just What I Wanted...However

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Legg's don't stay together. The bolts and  dowels strip and don't keep leg attached.

Beautiful but falls apart

This is nothing but ply wood, while putting it together seemed easy enough when you go to assemble all the pieces they do not hold together when you go to tighten them the screws get stuck or while trying to hold the pieces together the pegs break. This is a cheap piece of furniture. 6hrs still not together. Worse than IKEA furniture.

Horrible do not buy !!! If I could give one star!!
