This is my second pair of Muck boots after my last pair finally started cracking after 3 years.  The mid boot height seem easier to walk in than the full height ones I previously had, and I'm actually also finding these ones more comfortably snug in foot and ankle, so they don't slip around while walking. I had an ankle injury last year, and these are definitely supportive.  On that note, if you have mobility restrictions in your ankle, these can be tricky to get off, even with a boot jack, since they fit snugly through the ankle.

This is my second pair.  I really did a lot of gardening, buckthorn removal, cleaning out brush and sometimes in mud!  My muck boots kept me dry and safe.  They lasted for years!! So I needed to replace so got another pair!! They have kept my feet dry, help me put down chip, water my gardens and are comfortable.  Thanks much for a great boot

Great working boots

I've worn the chore boots for years. I'm on my 3rd or 4th pair, each pair lasting close to 2 yrs of constant farm use exposed to mud, manure and water. They're so comfortable that I also wear them for a hike.... Love the traction sole and roomy foot.

Durable yet comfortable

I wear a size 10 and ordered a size 10 and it is a great fit. Don't have to layer socks to keep my feet warm.

comfort - yes
Construction - I bought a pair two years ago and they are falling apart - foot from leg so they leak.  My husband wanted to get me boots for xmas so he found my "old" ones and ordered new ones.  Let's hope that these new ones are better built.  I use every day around barn.
Insulation - good until they leak
traction - I always test every boot or shoe based on the weather.  the traction good in snow, not on ice/freezing fog areas
waterproofing - great until they fall apart at the sole.

Depends on your geo location

These are awesome. Not too high up the leg, also not to tight (can comfortably tuck in my pants) and no slipping in the mud when feeding the cows and horses 😁

Love them

Overall I like these boots. They fit true to my usual womens size 8. They have a feminine look/feel to them that I adore(they aren't super utilitarian like my mens arctic sports) I love the height (the height matches my cowboy boots, but with all around barn chore functionality) I wanted them for a “summer” boot. They are a little warm in +30C, but what boot isn't? I gave it 4 stars as about a week into wearing part of the right boot rubber lifted a little from the boot itself (see pics) it's not bad, I'll probably shoe-goo it soon. I read online rumours the womens boots are made to withstand less work, and I hope that's wrong or that they adjust that cause we women work hard in our farm boots!! Also I LOVE that the logo is purple, SO CUTE!

I don't love these as much as I hoped I would. While theyre comfortable and I like the height for being less hot, there are some major drawbacks. The biggest drawback is that everything under the sun falls into them because of where they fall on your leg. I collect at least a bale of hay in there every single day. They also make a goofy flapping sound when I walk and they hit my calves. Maybe I have smaller calves than expected but it's incredibly annoying. I would buy taller ones next time.

Love the boots for how they look and they are truly slip resistant. They fit a bit snug for a boot as far as size goes and feels like they weigh my feet down for work performance so I do wish they were lightweight.

A bit on the heavy side

My last pair of Chore boots lasted at least 10 years, so I ordered another pair. The new boots are not the same. The fit is different, the sole seems cheap and 'plasticy'. I doubt these will last 10 years like my last pair, but we will see. I wear them daily in the beef cow barn, so they are worn for work.
