Bigger than I imagined. I read a lot of reviews about some ppl complaining how it fills up fast, well if you don't break down boxes and stuff of course it will. Any trash can can fill up fast.  I really haven't had any issues. Really good for its money. Ppl complain the bag slips, my suggestion? Buy the correct size trash bag and u don't have a problem.  Love this item. Wish I would have purchased sooner

This trash can has been great! It seemed like a lot of money to spend on a trash can, but i wanted something that was nice-looking but did not cost $200  like many name brands. I like that the trash can is not bulky, but still fits my two 13 gallon trash bags inside. Plus, it helps us recycle more. It has checked all of the boxes for us.

A great buy!

Ive debated about getting a new garbage for a while. I like to recycle and my current 13 gallon garbage finally ran its course. I dont regret this purchase at all. Its sleek, looks good and even though its only (2) 8 gallon sections I am just more conscious about how I pack the garbage to fit everything. The 8 gallon size was very worrisome for me but honesty it looks too good and functionally for my kitchen, it works great.  For the price you cant beat it. I purchased better trash and recycle stickers for the top and it looks great. I recommend the purchase of youve been on the fence. See my picture with my old 13 gallon garbage in it for comparison in size. I dont regret my decision one bit

Great looking and great garbage/recycle garbage

We ordered this trash can recently as the lid broke on our other step-lid can. What attracted me to this one was that it had a section for garbage and a section for recycling in the same unit. We ordered the stainless steel unit. What I like about it is that the bins themselves have a metal hanger you can use to remove the bin completely if needed. That is helpful for cleaning, or if the bag tears. I also like that it came with enclosed color-coding stickers so you can apply a color to each side to help guests figure out which side is for what. I use the blue for regular trash and green for recycling. The only thing I'll have to get used to is that both bins are the same size equally. I am using a 13 gallon bag in each bin but I would venture to say each side holds maybe 8-10 gallons. They are equal in size. Which, that is fine— but I am used to my 13 gallon trash can, and my recycling bin is typically about 5 gallons. So, that is just something I will have to get used to— having the same size for both trash and recycling. But overall this is a very nice unit. It is well-constructed and feels sturdy. It looks very nice in my kitchen. I would buy again.

Very Nice Dual Trash

I purchased this after recently seeing it in a HomeGoods store for literally double the price. I almost purchased it but it had a pretty noticeable dent in it so I decided not to.  I literally opened my phone to the Walmart app to look for the item and found it at less than half the price, and they had multiple color choices. I chose the black because it looks very modern and sleek. It's the perfect size for my new studio apartment. Be sure to buy the custom fit liners for this, it makes a HUGE difference.

Perfect Size

I love our new can. I would have given it 5 stars, but it arrived with a dent in the corner which my husband was able to push out, tho it still shows a little. The peddles work great and the inside bins are easy to remove and replace. We don't use bags in them. When they are full we just dump them in the trash receptacles outside. We don't put garbage or wet trash in them other than an occasional wet paper towel. We have a composting container for kitchen scraps, etc. We have a small kitchen and this can fits neatly against the wall and just looks great. Even matches my stainless/black appliances. I've search a long time for this and it was the most reasonably priced one I could find.
I'm very happy with this purchase.

Beautiful and functional 2 compartment trash can

Just received. Bins are smaller than expected. If you don't accumulate waste very often it's a nice addition to the kitchen; I live alone so I think it should work fine for me. Packaging was very nice and strongly protected. It's obviously just a trash can so hopefully it will do it's job overtime and ya know. just hole trash. Tissue box is for reference, first photo it's basically on the very edge so just mentally add about an inch to 1.5 inches.

Nice for small accumulation

This is a great size double trash can, it arrived in 1 big box thinking it would be secured so there would be no dents well unfortunately there were 2 big dents on the side that I tried to even out. Kinda disappointed that it had dents when i paid almost $100 for this.

Disappointed

It looks nice and the size is great but you have to push down rather hard to get the lid to come up all the way. Its awkward because you have to step on it sideways since it's such a small pedal.  It also doesnt have any kind of lip or handle to open it without the pedal.

Looks better than it functions.

The trash can looks large but the inserts are so small that you can't even fully utilize a 13 gallon trash bag. It fills up so quickly that you have to remove the bag but the bag will only be about halfway full wasting a trash bag. The trash can looks nice but the size is deceiving and too small for my 2 person household.
