Use the hand pump. Trust me. They don't compress into a flat rectangles. I put a king comforter, two king pillows and two king cases in a bag. Used the zipper piece to close. The zipper plastic thing does NOT stay. Put the bag in an 80qt container. Then started pumping. So satisfying. When done, it was so compressed, I could have put another, maybe two, in the container.

It looks nice, feels solid, and works reliably so far. I also appreciated that it arrived on time and was packaged well. This 12 vacuum storage bags set came in very handy. I like this set because you have a variety of bag sizes. In this set you receive three of each sizes consisting of jumbo medium, large and small. Also included is a free hand pump although I did not use the hand pump. I used a portable vacuum to activate my storage bag. Also included in the bag were zipper clips because they don't actually come on the bag you put them on the bag and use them as needed. Another thing I liked is they have a double zipper and I used a jumbo bag and I placed two very large sleeping bags into the jumbo bag vacuum sealed it and it works very well.

this was a wonderful purchase. I had bought big name brand vac bags in the past and couldn't get them to stay vacuumed. 
this cave with many different sizes and a pump to get the job done right. perfect solution to store seasonal items.

This is my 3rd time ordering these space saving bags. They have solved so many storage issues (blankets/pillows/winter clothes). And I recommend this product and you will not be disappointed.

I have buy some on target and to be honest it really sucks later on it started to get hair inside the bags but this one don't and are so easy to used and are the best so far ..I will be buying more

The small bags worked best and my Vacuum is a very strong one so it really helped in that department by suctioning really hard. I would recommend this product to anyone with a lot of things to pack!

Shrunk my storage unit

I've used 6 of the 12 bags and only 2 are staying vacuumed.  The other 4 won't stay vacuumed no matter what I do. I've been very disappointed.

supposed to come with free pump which was not included!

The bags are huge and can fit a ton of stuff. However, 3 in one package had leaks or puncture holes wasted time packing and vacuuming to have them blow right back up. Would not recommend.
