6 gallon pot is great for making collard greens, sweet tea, bone broths, stocks, bogs, etc.

Heavy bottom does a great jobs of keeping heat even down there!  (Walls are not heavy and remain cooler.. which can be good!  The steel lid is also thin, but performs well enough!)

The handles work well, but they arent fixed thru the walls.  This can be good or bad depending on perspective.  I have not had one to fail yet.

If you need a pot this big, it really fits the bill!

Amazing!! Feels high quality, nothing boils over, handles stay cool and you can use them as a spoon holder! You don't heed to use high heat to boil… Just a few extra minutes of patience. I just wish I could get a strainer insert for it but not sure they make one that size? Definitely will be getting more Tramontina cookware!

The quality of the tri-ply base is great and I love how sturdy it feels. It's considerably larger than I had thought it would be, having ordered it online, but it does the job, making large batches of bone broth.

Love it keeps food hot for hours and clean up was easy. I thought this was the best price after shopping around for the this size pot.

I have been having this pot for over 15 years. Best pot I ever purchase. I use it for everything including  soups, gravy and boil foods. Would buy it all over again. I need a couple more like this.

Great product

We do a lot of canning so we wanted a big stainless stock pot for large batch cooking. Since I had to order this instead of picking it up right away locally, I also ordered a Tramontina 22 quart pro pot to compare it to. This was very sturdy and we would definitely have been happy to have kept it. But in the end we opted for the other pot as it was just a touch better stainless (18/10 vs. 18/8). I'm still not sure I made the right choice, the other pot is great, but this was a touch larger and all metal which I like. Who knows, maybe someday I will need a second one and this will be it. I don't believe you can go wrong with this. By the way, it also holds 7 quart jars if you needed a canner. It's about 11 3/4" to the top lip of the pan.

Great canning pot.

Great size for soup stock and liked the Tri plated bottom. I gave it three stars because I was very disappointed with the construction of the handles for both pot and lid, they are not bolted , but some type of heat pressed. I do not see this item holding up well for very long especially if you are moving it around full of food.  I would not purchase this type of pot again.

inside dimensions are 12 inches at bottom.    bought it because it was advertised at over 14 inches.  has a dark spot on inside looks like some kind of metal other than the stainless steel. it is 13 across at top and 11.5  inches deep.
