Thinking seared scallops and stir-fried vegetables for one This is the pan for you! </p><p>Before using your cookware for the first time, hand-wash with warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly, then season by lightly rubbing cooking oil onto the interior surface and heating the cookware over medium heat for two to three minutes. When cool, hand-wash in warm, soapy water then rinse and dry thoroughly. Do not use nonstick aerosol cooking sprays in your cookware. We recommend using silicone, nylon, bamboo or wood utensils when cooking.Cook using low to medium heat only. Cookware with tri-ply base construction requires only low to medium heat to sauté, fry or cook most foods.Your cookware is oven-safe up to 450°F (232°C). Even though the handles are oven-safe, they will get hot in the oven and on the stovetop, particularly gas stoves where an open flame is used. Therefore, please use protective mitts to safely handle hot cookware. Avoid sudden temperature changes such as immersing hot cookware in cold water. Always let the cookware cool before washing.Cleaning and caring for your cookware: Interior Cleaning: The nonstick cooking surface on your cookware ensures easy cleanup with just soap and water. Should burnt grease or food residue collect on the surface, it can usually be removed with warm water and a mild detergent. For extreme cases, residue can be removed with a thorough cleaning using Soft Scrub®. Do not use abrasive cleansers, steel wool or coarse scouring pads. Your cookware is dishwasher-safe. We bought 3 different sizes of these pans since we are switching to induction.  We first tried the top-rated brand, but the handles were awful, and the shape was awful too.  We have been buying Tramontina cookware since 2013 and have had no complaints.  These work wonderfully on an induction range.  They heat evenly.  The handles are really comfortable.

I like Tramontina pans--they're well made and durable.  The tri-ply base makes sure there are no hot spots while you're cooking.  I've found the 10-inch size for saute pans to be perfect to cook for one or two people and take up much less storage space.

High quality, great value

I do not cook a lot, but this is my go-to pan. I make a lot of omelets and they slip from the pan evenly cooked through. Clean up is a quick swipe with a paper towel and some sudsy water.

I'm so thrilled to have a Tramontina non-stick fry pan that works on my induction cooktop. My other 12" Tramontana Pro skillet was a workhorse in my kitchen and I missed it dearly. This one works beautifully on an induction burner that is not the full 12" wide (e.g. the Thermador Liberty).
