Overall, the figure is nice, though the quality of the plastic is kind of eh but still durable my two grips with the toy is the parts forming since you have to take the back off, which makes the back of the car which kind of ruins the tire point of a transformer transforming my second grip is the face. It is supposed to be retro, but it has the show face not the toy face but overall I'm fine with the toy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Again, another awesome figure! Though they should've stuck to the point if the G1 theme with BB should've gotten his G1 head like Gears. He's just like the previous BB that was released prior. Thought the official VW seal makes the packaging look sweet as well with the nostalgia. I'm turning 50 in September and with these releases and packaging I feel like a kid again! Good Luck finding the BB figure, highly recommend this toy!

G1 Nostalgia

Great retro Bumblebee with great build and quality.  Like it a lot.  Will buy another one.

Bumblebee is my favorite Transformer! I thought he was a tad bit larger but the sign does read 5 inches so shame on me. With that said, he's perfect!

Cool toy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bumblebee is a quintessential part of the Autobots and everyone's collection.  This Bumblebee was originally release in the War for Cybertron line exclusive to Walmart some years ago.  This version is updated to a color scheme meant to represent the original colors for his first ever toy which suits him quite well.  His transformation from robot to car is fairly simple and straightforward, though you may have to fiddle with connecting the hood together.  It doesn't take much practice to get good at it.  He comes with a shield which is the back end of his car in his alternate mode.  He also comes with a giant blaster which he can comfortably hold, however there appears to be no storage for it in car mode.  The box design is amazing and reminiscent of his original toy's.  The cardback is thick, preventing unwanted creases on it and has some awesome art.

You really can't go wrong with Bumblebee and this toy is no exception.  If you see this toy in stock, don't hesitate in picking him up as he is selling out quick!  A must-have for any Transformer fan.

Never Skip Out on Bumblebee!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bad QC on the face, but I'm planning on replacing it anyway, so not really mad. Other than that, this is an enormous upgrade over the original Netflix version. The yellow is actually yellow instead of ugly mustard, the clear plastic is gone, and overall the figure feels much better to mess with. Solid recommend!

A change of colors can completely change a figure!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this toy! Though the chest is not G1  animation accurate, this toy looks spot on, and the alt mode looks like a real VW bug. The original version of this toy was a strange hue yellow, but this version has corrected that. The transformation is also very intuitive and easy to learn (and) remember, and the quality of the plastic is high enough that you don't have to worry about snapping it in half just by looking at it, which is the case with some other Deluxe sized toys: SS109 Mirage being an example.

Best Modern G1 Bumblebee

Good toy. The Netflix Bumblebee mold is pretty good, with a great VW mode. Wish the head was inspired by the actual toy like the others. Could've used the Goldbug mold.

Good Toy, Wrong Head

The figure looks immaculate in both modes, but the partsforming the back of the car is a lot less annoying than I thought it would be.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best version of a G1-inspired Bumblebee to buy. It has the realistic, licensed car mode, a cartoon and original toy-accurate yellow body color, and the transformation is just simple enough to be generally accessible while not feeling too dumbed down. On top of it all, the special packaging style for this release is super nice (as long as the fulfillment center doesn't ship it in an envelope or a too-small box and bend the cardback!) so it can even be a great sealed-in-package display item. Kind of on the expensive side at $25 since it's one of the smaller toys of its type, but it's nice, and will be a steal on eventual clearance.
