My family pours this into a pot over a can of drained chicken peas and cut up boiled potatoes. Warm through and serve for a lazy quick Chana Masala. It's delicious. It's not too salty and it actually is really great with chicken but you can put it over cauliflower, rice even cooked cabbage. You can really get creative with it and add more spices to it.

It's easy to use to add flavour to your dish

This sauce is the only butter chicken sauce my husband likes. He actually loves it so much, he asks for it all the time. Whenever we buy chicken, it's always,"Let's do a big batch of butter chicken." That being said, I've tried many other butter chicken sauces, and we prefer this one over any other. He even wants to always cook it when his parents come to visit. We don't add cream as it is creamy enough by itself. It's a quick and easy meal for weekday nights. The spice is super mild (which we prefer). I use 1 jar with 3 large chicken breats and it lasts 2 meals for us. Best sauce out there - for real!

My Husband's FAVOURITE Meal

Big fan of this butter chicken sauce. The taste is very rich and smooth with a hint of spicy but not too much that you're reaching for a glass of milk. I like this sauce in particular because of the ease of use, all you need to do is plop it into the pan and your butter chicken is ready 5 min later!

Easiest Butter Chicken Ever

Recently discovered VH's Indian Butter Chicken Cooking Sauce and it has quickly become a fam favourite! It
Isn't too mild or too spicy and adds a nice little spice kick to any butter chicken recipe. By far one of the better cooking sauces for this recipe.

A Must Try For Anyone Who Likes A Little Spice

After buying and using the VH Indian butter chicken sauce, I must say it is the smoothest I've had. Although all four adults in our house immensely enjoyed this.
I cannot use it as a dinner meal plan for awhile, as both young children refused to try it.
So sadly we can only use as a lunchtime  idea until they are older

Butter Chicken Sauce

This Butter Chicken Sauce is pretty good.  It is super easy to make and the flavour is decent.  It is not completely authentic but to whip up a Butter Chicken recipe quickly, it does the trick.  I added cream to mine to make it creamier and to stretch it as the bottle is pretty small.

Decent Butter Chicken Sauce

I personally would not call this sauce butter chicken, it has a very mild taste and is kind of bland.  I used it to make butter chicken and seasoned rice and the rice had flavour. I would recommend adding some additional spices to this sauce as it is a good base but definitely a little more added to it.

Butter Chicken?

I needed to make butter chicken typically make my own sauce but I was in a rush resorted to using VH. It was oily and watery when I think the product over did it with the oil. It does the trick for emergencies but I would reccomend making it from scratch.

Good Enough For A Meal

I would describe the flavour as if someone went to a touristy Indian restaurant, then described the flavour to someone who had never even heard of Indian food, and then that person made the recipe. My wife would describe it as rancid. Even when dinner isn't good, we're usually too poor to throw out food. This went in the compost.

Don't buy if you like butter chicken

I used to love eating butter chicken with this sauce at least twice a month for at least 4 years and the last 3 times I ate it, i found the taste to be very different. Its much more liquid /watery , and very sweet, it doesnt taste butter chicken anymore and its very deceiving. I havent been able to finish eating my plate. I wont be buying it anymore, ill have to find a new brand..

They changed the recipe! 😭
