We purchased the Voltz Toys 12V Jeep in September 2025 for nearly $300. By April 2026 — just 7 months later — the battery was completely degraded, dying within 25 minutes of a full 18-hour charge.
When we contacted Voltz Toys, they told us we were outside their warranty period. That warranty period? 3 months. On a $300 children's toy.
They also told us that under normal conditions, their batteries should last 2  years. Ours lasted 7 months. We stored the car indoors, charged it properly, and it was used by young children for normal play. There was nothing abnormal about our usage — and yet here we are.
For context, we also own a ride-on vehicle from another brand that has significantly outperformed this one in both battery life and overall durability. The difference is night and day.
After multiple emails, Voltz Toys refused to provide a replacement battery and ultimately sent us the same copy-pasted response twice. The customer service experience was as disappointing as the product itself.
