My son absolutely love this! He is 4. And it's so easy to learn how to use. I don't even know by myself details, but he knows better than me. 
But if you make this like a present, be ready to buy extra memory card. I didn't pay attention before I bought it. So it was a little disappointment when he started make videos and internal memory get full very fast.

I bought this for my daughter for christmas. She absolutley loves it . she uses it everyday she loves to pretend she is vlogging. The price was great and it is easy to use for my 6 year old. There isn't a lot of storage space on the camera but just pop in an sd card and it is perfect.

Great little camera

The features are amazing, the greenscreen, the flip up selfie feature, the filters, 1000% awesome. It has a good battery life and the games are so entertaining to my 3 year old. The cam is also very compact and doesnt take up space. I love it so much.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this recently for kid who is interested in taking Ton of videos, she loves the camera and is so easy for kids to adapt and use. Comes with its own selfie stick and green background for more professional videos. 
So many features and additional settings which are designed to interest kids. Love the animated background that are inbuilt.

It comes with a slot for memory card which helps us use it outside of house for a longer period.
Rechargeable battery comes handy along with unbuild editor at few kid friendly games.

Great features for kids to get more creative

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To say this camera is incredible would be an understatement. This Vtech  Kidizoon Creator Cam is SO neat! There are many different options and opportunities you have with this camera. Options with this camera include: Video, Green Screen Studios, Photo (camera), Creativity Tools, Games, and settings. The video option allows you to record videos in 180p. The Green Screen Studio is the coolest option of this camera. The camera comes with a large green screen that can be hung. When using the Green Screen Studio, you get to choose from 22 different green screen backgrounds. Some of the backgrounds include a disco party, driving, space themed, flying, at the beach, being chased by a t-rex, and being at a haunted house. When you chose a background, and you aim the camera at the green screen, the background of the camera automatically changes to reflect the theme you've chosen.  You are able to record or take a photo in this setting. The Camera allows you to capture photos, obviously. The creativity tool allows you to create an invisibility trick, edit videos, create magic videos (ie, floating objects, disappearing items) and also allows you to do a time lapse video. The games you are able to play include a cake master game (create cakes), a River Cat game (where you float a cat in a raft down river), and a Bee mission (to collect pollen). In addition to the above, you are able to adjust the settings of the camera. Settings include: brightness, memory, different camera resolution settings, date and time settings, language and parental controls. There is an option to save videos as favorites to your library as well. I would suggest buying an SD card to insert into the camera as the camera does not allow many videos to be stored at one time. 
The camera also comes with a tripod to attach the camera to. This tripod will allow the camera to be set on a surface for recording, or collapsed together to create a 5-6" pole to hold onto while filming. Another thing that is not apparent, unless you are one to read directions. The instructions state the camera should be charged using only the USB that is provided with the camera, and that it should not be plugged into the wall, only charged by being plugged into a computer. Being plugged into the wall could ruin the camera. All in all, I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this camera for any child/ creator. This review doesn't do this camera justice to just how neat the camera really is.

Very easy to use and navigate the features. It includes a green screen that can be set up and pick from a scene from the camera and have fun. They can drive a car, go to a haunted house, tell the weather and many others. Also shows kids how to shoot trick videos, time lapse, floating object, and even invisibility videos. Shows them a step by step setup. The kids can also edit the videos from the camera. Easy to connect to the computer to transfer photos and videos. Come with a tripod stand to make it easy to film

We love that it has so many different features and functions, it also came with the green screen! You can connect it to your computer, purchase a SD card for more memory. My daughters are 9 and 10 and it was easy for them to figure it all out and start filming. Backgrounds are cute! It's easily manageable with the selfie stick and tripod. Amazing product

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have you ever looked at your little kid and thought “they're going to be a famous Youtuber someday!”? This is the perfect starter set for your future star. 
The camera itself is a basic digital with an impressive 5mp resolution. It is coated in hard plastic, so it will be able to withstand some tumbling. The lens is reversible so that you can flip it up and watch yourself on the screen while you're recording yourself. With the included tripod, this is probably going to be the biggest application, as most kids are content to take 399 pictures of their left foot with their parent's phone rather than the point and shoot variety, which most don't see very often.  
The software has a number of shooting modes, with the most exciting being the green screen mode. It allows for you to record yourself in a variety of animated scenarios. 
The camera does not connect directly to the internet (which is good for children's safety), but you can c connect it to a computer to upload the pictures and video files. You can also add more memory to it by inserting a micro SD card (not included). 
As an adult who has lots of high tech gadgets, I'll say that this is definitely in the beginner tech toy category. Probably in the 5-9 yr old range. I did not find the directions or buttons intuitive, but I handed the camera to my daughter and she just pushed buttons for a few minutes until she had it figured out. 
I feel like this toy is for a very specific purpose with a very specific audience. As such i believe the price is justified. I think if it were a toy phone used as a video blogging tool, with the same accessories, and had a name like Video Blogger, Jr. or something, and cost just a bit less, it would be reach a wider audience.

Great fun for the budding video blogger

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is 11, and while he may be a little older than the general age group for this camera he really enjoys it! He loves using the green screen and creating his own fun videos. It is easy to charge and user friendly, he was able to figure it out quickly.

Works well for kids!

My 6 year old son had this toy for not even 8 hrs.  He was using it, and he tripped and fell. The camera hit the floor, not hard at all, and now the screen does not work.  Can still hear all tbe sounds, but the screen is black.  You would think this toy would be more durable considering it is made for kids.
