I should have been wary when the item description was very sparse, although it did mention that the shipping weight was ten pounds,leading me to believe that it was, indeed, wrought iron. It actually weighed less than three pounds, and the reason soon became clear. This item is not what I would call wrought iron, but appears to be stamped steel brackets with a black painted tubular bar, certainly not wrought iron. It also, unexpectedly, comes in three pieces; two end brackets and the tubular bar, the latter having signs of rust showing through the black paint. Another word of warning: the brackets line up neither for 16 nor 18 inch stud spacing. What deception has been wrought?
