My purchase was exactly what I wanted and arrived in perfect condition, no dents or scratches or pieces missing. It was well protected by the packaging and met my expectations.

Filing cabinet (steel) from Vinsetto

Practical binder, good format

My principal complaint is that this item is very dangerous. It has a fifth  wheel underneath the lower drawer which will stop the cabinet from tilting if fully opened. However, opening fully the top drawer causes the cabinet to tip forward and fall. It is necessary to open the bottom drawer first  to allow the fifth wheel to support the cabinet as the top drawer is opened. The whole problem is made far worse by the fact that I am using this cabinet for legal size folders. This means that the folders are entered from side to side instead of back to front. This means that in order to select a file, it is necessary to open each door fully before a file can be accessed and/or removed. Letter sized folders which are held front to back can be partially accessed but, again, it is dangerous to open the drawers fully. Finally, after trying for two hours with instructions from GPT as well as the supplier, it was impossible to remove the drawers so that the cabinet might be more easily transported from first floor to second. The supplier offered to take the item back but I had already installed all of my folders and had a strong young person carry it upstairs for me. By the way, the UPS driver refused to bring the cabinet up to the second floor even though he was able to lift the box and even though I told him  I was 87 years old and could not do it myself. All in all a terribly frustrating and disappointing experience. I really regret buying this!
