Best Vegan cheese that really tastes like the real thing. Spot on flavors for all of them. Very impressed on this company getting Feta cheese flavor. Cheddar cheese - you won't  believe it's  plant based, neither for smoked Provolone.
You don't  need to be a Vegan to enjoy this cheese.
I only wish this company would have a warehouse in Quebec, the shelves are often not stocked fast enough for us consumers.

Amazing! To me this doesn't taste exactly like cheddar cheese. But it does taste like cheese and I'm very shocked about that. I actually don't like any vegan foods that are fake meat or fake cheese. But this one tastes very delicious I can even eat it on its own.

Violife Mature Cheddar Style Slices are just one of the Violife brand products that tastes like cheese but made from plants instead they are my favorite over the Daiya plant-based cheeses which come in 2nd!

Missing grilled cheese sandwiches since I went dairy free but this is the first cheese substitute I have tried, and believe me I have tried them all, that actually tastes like cheese!  Also good melted on crackers.

Really good cheese alternative

My favourite brand of vegan cheese, and my second favourite variety. The provolone is better, but this mature cheddar makes an awesome grilled cheese and even tastes good on its own

I've been using this to make grilled cheese sandwiches.  Honestly, if I blind tested this, I wouldn't think it was any different than regular cheese.  If you want a vegan option, then this is a good choice.  One thing I didn't like is that it takes longer to melt than real cheese.  This meant turning my cook top to a lower setting and cooking the sandwich longer.  Other than that, no complaints.

This cheese tastes funny unless its melted, searched and apparently isn't healthy at all. It was something new to try but will stick to the regular soy cheese slides

Expected more.

I recently picked up the aged cheddar slices to find an alternative. It melted wonderfully for a grilled cheese sandwich (low and slow is the way to go for this cheese in particular with a lid on the pan). However I had to seriously dress this sandwich to give it life. Aged Cheddar tends to have an acidic element to it along with a mellow nutty flavor depending on its age. This cheese literally tastes like potato starch. And ONLY potato starch. Advice to help, add apple cider vinegar and a small hint of smoke. Please avoid Nutritional Yeast (for our yeast sensitive and allergy friends). But something to at least give it an actual “aged” taste. Cause you have a nice product, but the flavor is POORLY executed.
