Standard Tension

Following the installation instructions, I have successfully mounted the Easy Tension Bike Cleats on two different brands of cycling shoe. Adjustment of float is important and is also easily done. The cleats are well made and the external gray cover is durable. Remember to inspect your cleats, spray with dry lube and keep them clean. Ride safe.

I'm happy with them however you sent me a pair for my aero speed pays and this is the third pair now because the last 2 feel off in less than 1 year.

Like them but

I've worn Speedplay Standard Tension cleats for about 6 years. The Standard Tension Cleat works great. It's dual sided, easy to clip in and out (brand new cleats and pedals typically are more difficult to clip in but if properly lubricated and clipping in and out a few times they loosen up nicely. I love them.

Great Cleats As Always.

The cleats are great. Clipping is very easy to land. Confidence of acquiring lock in is intuitive. Very helpful when starting on a significant incline.

Confidently Clip In Speedplay

Much easier release and entry. I wish they would include the same covers as the standard black ones. They are not as aero.

Easier tension like the old Speedplays

The cleats work great but I'd like to see Wahoo offer sets of two left shoe cleats and two right shoe cleats. Like all my friends that use Speedplay I always unclip the left shoe at stops so that's the only one that wears out and falls off. I have bought so many pairs of left-right covers that I have 7 right shoe covers unused in a drawer because that side never wears out, only the left cover.

Great cover but two of the same side should be offered

First of all ley me say that I never give a 5 star review. The easy tension cleat is a life saver. When I purchased the speedplay road pedals (I have only ever used the Frog Pedal) I ws not sure how they would work. The pedal s were fine but I could not get the cleat to release. i didn't realize that there were two available type of cleat and the easy tension was the one I should have had. Un fortunately they are not available(?) when you order the pedals and have to be purchased separately. I ordered them and the problem was solved. Cleats and pedals work great.

original cleats did not work for me.

The walkable cleats are a HUGE improvement from the earlier Speedplay branded cleats without the walkable cover. I do wish the inside 'C' metal spring clip was still a little sturdier but I love the comfort I have from the float of the cleats. I have been using Wahoo/Speedplay for 20+ years.

Long lasting!

I've been riding speedplays for almost 20 years. These new style cleats are a bit stiffer to get in and out with, although maybe that's just because they are new. Took me a little while to get used the higher effort required to click out. The integral rubber covers are a huge improvement over the old metal cleats, which were really hard to walk in.

I have used the speed play for approximately 20 years now. Im using my old peddles with these new clips. The clips do not un-clip as well as the old set. I almost fell down when i couldnt get my foot out. It might just be an adjustment but, at this point, I dont like them.

Not sure about these new clips.
