I love this stuff for machine embroidery! I use a bottom and top layer on diapers and double layers on both sides for teal towels. Washes away so easily and keeps embroidery from nesting while sewing.

this is the worst stabilizer i have ever used. if i could give it zero stars i would. instead of the quality wash away stabilizer that i normally get from amazon that is thick and does it's job, i basically got a roll of saran wrap. it caused my needle to rip holes in the clothes that i was embroidering for my small business and made the design skip some stitches -- i know it is this stabilizer that is the problem because i have used the exact fabric, needle, and design countless times that i used with this stabilizer when i had these major issues. to top it all off it will be difficult to return because i can't put it back in its original packaging at it was just as thin plastic as the stabilizer itself and i ripped it off.
