The DryPro Waterproof Cast Cover will let you swim, shower and bathe while keeping your casts, bandages and wounds  both dry and secure. The Cast Cover will also come in useful if you are taking  hydrotherapy right after surgery and need to reduce stiffness and swelling and speed recovery.DRYPro™ waterproof fabric is made from durable premium quality surgical latex. There is also a Non-Skid Grid™ that helps prevent slippage while you use the product. It also keeps  it securely where you need it.The pump functions in two roles. It creates a vacuum seal but also serves as a gauge and a check to ensure that this vacuum is intact and will not leak.

Great product!! Allowed my 3 year old, petite in size, to continue to be a mermaid even while in a cast! Cast stayed dry. Looks big, but fits snug once vacuumed.

I brought this for my 7/8 year old son to use in the shower and on vacation. He broke his arm twice and we were able to use it about 6 months apart. He is on the thin side and the smaller end did a great job of keeping his cast dry. It comes with a hand pump to remove the air from the cast area to help keep it dry. You do not want to make it super tight while it is being worn. Very occasionally would his cast get wet and that was usually from removing it after the water activity. I definitely recommend this product.

Great Product

The first time I used this product I sweat so bad my bandage was wet. Now I use baby powder and it works perfectly.  The only flaw is that it is way bigger than it needs to be. I purchased a medium size and the foot section is 7 inches bigger than my foot.  Cut large buy small.

finally a way to swim with a cast

Being in a cast for over 3 months with a broken foot, this product allowed me the freedom to shower without the headache of wrapping garbage bags and tape around my leg.

FREEDOM!

This REALLY works.  My son had to wear a hard plaster cast for a month.  This product allowed him to take a bath/shower without worrying about getting the cast wet.  We ordered the large size of the half leg cast cover.  We were worried it might be too large for my son, who is 4'9" and had a cast that ran from his toes to his knee.  But the size Large fit him well - small would have been too small. I don't often post product reviews but this was well made and deserved special mention.

Excellent product - well worth it

Seems to work really well. Easy to use, thick and the bottom has a great non slip surface, keeps the skin and bandages bone dry, exactly what I was looking for. My only complaint, (and this isn't a design flaw) is that it can be a pain in the butt to get over the foot without help. Though to be fair, that's how it was designed so as to be watertight. Liked it enough that I bought a second one.

Great Buy

I'm actually neutral on this product as I never opened nor used it. While waiting to receive this product I also purchased an Adult Cast Cover for Shower by Might-X (3pk) thinking I would use it three times or at max for the two-week period I have my splint on. Now that I went from a splint to a cast, I am still using the one Adult Cast Cover and it is working way beyond expectation!  If the DryPro would've arrived first then that this might've been another story. The Adult Cast Cover arrived in two days while the DRYPro took 4-5 days.  The DryPro cost over three times as much also! Never opened the package so it's still brand new.  Requested a refund.

MAKE SURE YOU TAKE MEASUREMENTS BEFORE ORDERING! I purchased a medium and it is wayyy too big, goes over my knee and have up my thigh, I am ordering a new extra small because I need it to cover my ankle monitor SCRAM bracelet. the vacuum seal does not hold longer than 10 minutes while over the knee, I am hoping that it will hold better over only my foot and ankle.

TAKE MEASUREMENTS

The product ripped when someone was assisting me with getting it over my cast. That caused it to lose the ability to be sealed properly. Expensive product that became useless.
