Primary colours can be mixed to create secondary colours. Adding a touch of brown gives rich deep colours or pastel without.

I purchased the Primary 4 - Icing Colours Set and was very satisfied with the quality and versatility of them. They were very easy to use in my icing and my white rolled fondant! The colours were beautiful and vibrant and I used them for anything! I was able to make bright vibrant colours and darker shades as well! I used the green to make fall leaves for my cupcakes and the colours were just beautiful and so realistic! I use a toothpick to add the colouring to my rolled fondant and for the little drop of colouring I used the colours were just beautiful! They last a while too! I use about 2 or 3 drops for darker coloured fondant and for my white buttercream icing I use about 1-2 drops r else the icing can get a little runny, but I've NEVER had this problem! I highly suggest this product to anyone who is decorating and colouring their fondant and icings! Another great thing about this is it doesn't leave a funny after-taste like some of the other colourings that I have used which is great because sometimes I use more colouring than normal to achieve a darker colour!

Loved basic color combo

Failed to see that it has brown. Such a random color to add with primary colors.

It has brown instead of green

If you like bitter cakes go for it.. but let me warn even the bitterest fruit will taste better than this icing on any cake. 
I used Christmas red for making a red rose cake and I had to add Sooo much of the color to get a desired color. I was very skeptical of using it directly on the cake, so decided to taste the icing first.. Ewww.. it was so horrible that I couldn't describe.. 
it was a huge disappointment plus a major setback in cake decorations :( 

do yourself a favor and avoid using this for the advertised colors.. you can use the colors in little quantity for a lighter version of color of you want(although I won't be using it as I dunno how bad could they be even in small quantity)
