Primary colours can be mixed to create secondary colours. Adding a touch of brown gives rich deep colours or pastel without.

Failed to see that it has brown. Such a random color to add with primary colors.

It has brown instead of green

If you like bitter cakes go for it.. but let me warn even the bitterest fruit will taste better than this icing on any cake. 
I used Christmas red for making a red rose cake and I had to add Sooo much of the color to get a desired color. I was very skeptical of using it directly on the cake, so decided to taste the icing first.. Ewww.. it was so horrible that I couldn't describe.. 
it was a huge disappointment plus a major setback in cake decorations :( 

do yourself a favor and avoid using this for the advertised colors.. you can use the colors in little quantity for a lighter version of color of you want(although I won't be using it as I dunno how bad could they be even in small quantity)

Horrible!! Not at all as advertised,Don't Waste $

I was happy with the dramatic results of the one color that came in my pack of four.  The box of four colors contained One yellow, Two Brown, and no fourth one at all.  I am confident that Walmart would let me return it for replacement.  That is way more trouble than the $4 box of food colors is worth.  I did want to just contact them to let them know about it though.  Evidently, that is no longer reasonable either.  Sigh...
As I said - the one color was all I had hoped for in that one color.  The yellow is not bitter.   I have not and will never use the brown ones.  My experience with food color in general is that the red and brown is often bitter and has to be used with a delicate hand.
