I've worn Wrangler cargo shorts for several years.  While this pair no longer has flaps on the rear pockets, I do appreciate the slight stretch built into the waist.  Fabric is fairly light but solid, stitching is excellent.  Also has a larger electronics pocket.  Definitely recommend.

Comfortable and versatile

I really like these shorts, for the money they are the best deal out there. The fit is great and the material is very comfortable. I have had no problems with these shorts.

I have purchased a lot of these shorts.

These shorts are made with a slightly stretchy material which I have come to very much like. The fit is true and they seem to be built really nice. But the thing that made me order extra pairs (3 in all) was the pockets. I have some 'cool' cargo shorts, but the pockets are useless - more for show/style. But these are very easy to use, safe to put stuff in, and the 'Tech Pocket' is something that all pants/shorts should have. I have a large screen iPhone and it slides right in and feels safe and comfortable.

Pockets that you can actually use

I love the shorts but they run a little larger in size. I wear a 42 and only ordered a 40 and they are still big. Other than that I like them..

Just trying them now

These are the only cargo shorts I buy. The reasons are simple. They are durable, fit right, and have a lot of well placed pockets that have easy to use Velcro closures. If I need to get into a pocket, or close it back, I don't want to fumbling with hard to use buttons or snaps like other brands have. I absolutely recommend these shorts!

Wore these only 5 or 6 times and the back is already ripped near the pocket. I don't live an especially active lifestyle nor have a heavy wallet, so there's no reason this should have ripped other than the extremely thin and cheap fabric it's made from.

Terrible quality

I'm very disappointed in the quality of Wrangler Cargo Shorts.  I've been wearing Wrangler Cargo Shorts and Jeans for years and now I may have to look at different brands.

I have been wearing wrangler jeans and shorts for a long time.Ive always liked the quality of their clothes and they usually last for years but not anymore. I bought four pairs of shorts expecting the same great quality but found out after wearing the Carmel pair twice that there was a rip on the corner of the left rear pocket. Also when I opened the package and first looked at the shorts I noticed the material was extremely thin.You can actually see through the material when you hold it up to a light.I thought maybe that the "rip stop" part of the description meant the shorts wouldn't "rip" so easy but evidently it's just a way to make a cheaper product and charge as much or more for it. Oh well, I guess I'll try to find another place to buy some quality shorts.

Beyond disappointed

Material is very cheap and craftsmanship of shorts are not of good quality

I would not purchase this item again
