I was pleasantly suprised at the quality of this product. Made of solid wood and easy to build. Even came with extra parts and everything fit. I got the Honey Brown and it goes very well with my oak trim. I'm in my 70's and had no problem putting it together, but it is heavy.

Beautiful console table.

Assembling wasn't too hard. It took about 2 hours. I wish some holes can be pre drilled for ease and time. Other wise it's great.

Decent tv stand

The box was delivered with a lot of damage around it, but I'm sure that's mostly on FedEx and not the manufacturer. The problem is that simpli home puts the top of the stand faced DOWN in the bottom of the box, so any damage to the box will damage the top of the stand. It would make a lot more sense if the top was faced up so any damage just hurts the parts of the stand that aren't visible.

Unfortunately this is very heavy, and was not something I could repackage and return so I'm just dealing with the damage on the top. It was also very tedious and difficult to put together. It took about 2.5h and there's easily 100 screws and attachments. The holes are predrilled but they paint overtop of them so it's hard to get the screws started. If you don't do it perfectly, you will split the wood or your cabinets won't like up evenly. While the stand looks nice, I don't think I would have bought it for this price knowing how poorly packaged it is and the risk associated along with the difficulty assembling and the quality of some of the materials.

Nice stand, poorly packaged

We just purchased this and really like the look of it.  It was easy to put together because the directions were excellent.  It took us about 2.5 hours to put together.  Every item was marked which made putting the pieces together easy.  The only bad thing was that when we unpacked the top piece, there were 7 scratches on the front of it that can be seen in the picture.
