Assembly process is straightforward and quick.

Looks great and was easy to put together with easy to follow instructions. This isn't the first Zinus bed I've owned and I can tell they've made a lot of improvements to their assembly since the last one I got a few years back. The frame is a lot more stable and sturdy than the old one was.

There are sticky strips to hold your mattress in place but since it's a flat platform with nothing to keep the mattress contained, your mattress can move and shift and will probably need to be adjusted every now and then. This wouldn't really be an issue but I have a Doberman that loves to run full speed and jump onto the bed which constantly pushes the mattress around. 

If that sort of thing bothers you, maybe pass on this one. But if not, it's held up great and been super sturdy throughout all the Doberman running and jumping.

Sturdy frame and was very easy for my husband to put together. All the pieces came organized. And it made with nice wood finish. We love it in our extra bedroom.

i was really really skeptical about my very big purchase of bed  online as i am a  very light sleeper , little noise wake me up, but i am glad i choose this bed. I am so happy  no noise , very sturdy, strong  and beautiful design.  All my friends like the design.

Packaging was done really thoughtfully; even the styrofoam was sealed in a bag so they wouldn't be all over the floor. Everything was labeled clearly and the instructions were simple as well. No complaints about the bed!

Would recommend!

This bed frame looks more expensive than it is.   It looks just like the picture.   We use it with bunky boards to support our sleep number mattress.   It is very easy to put together, a characteristic of every Zinus bed frame we have purchased (3 different styles).  My only wish is that is was perhaps 5 inches higher off the ground.

The bed looks just like the photos in the ad. The box suffered damage in shipping, but everything was double boxed and arrived perfectly. What really impressed me was that all of the styrofoam packing pieces were individually plastic-wrapped - no mess on the floor during assembly! They included extra parts that weren't needed. I probably spent a couple of hours putting the bed together by myself. Some of the screws show, but I really couldn't be happier with this economy-priced, well-packaged bed.

Happy With The Purchase

Great bed frame! It is beautiful, solid and sturdy.  Assembly went smoothly with two people. 
My only complaint is that the packaging was SO WASTEFUL!  There's just no need for every single piece of Styrofoam to be individually wrapped and taped in plastic. I would gladly deal with a few stray bits of styrofoam to keep all that plastic from being manufactured, then sent to a landfill.

The photos are very accurate, except I think our mattress is slightly longer than the bed frame. Our zinus king size mattress and mattress pad hang off the end by about an inch, which was unexpected. I also thought the bed would be slightly cradled by the frame (sitting inside it) but it sits on top as the slats are even with the top of the frame. Overall we like the bed and it's mostly quiet. Some creaks now and then which we will try to fix ourselves.  The wood is nice and the color is beautiful.

Overall great but mattress is too long

We think it is a high quality bed, but we purchased for a kid's room and really wish they would include some kind of cap to go over the screw holes on the headboard that are exposed. We did reach out and they told us they don't have anything like that. It would not only add aesthetically to the beautiful design of the bed, but would also provide added safety.

Should have screw covers!

Issues with this product; missing washers (spare parts do not include washers), the strapping attaching the bed slats was reversed for one of the slats so we had to cut the strapping, and finally the sides of the bed are too short to fit most standard small sized boxes (unless you move it under the bed from the front/back of the bed frame).
